Thank you for looking. The apartment was completed in December 2021 and the room is very clean. The room size is not about 20 square meters, but there is WiFi, a kitchen, a shower room, a toilet with a washlet function, and a semi-double bed with basic furniture and appliances.It is compact, but it can accommodate up to 4 people♪ Ideal for both short-term and long-term stays. The room is located on the second floor and can be moved by elevator or stairs. There are many locals in the area, so it is attractive to be able to stay while touching local life. It is a 5-minute walk to the popular tourist destination Makishi Public Market, and an 8-minute walk to Kokusai Street. In addition, within a 5-minute walk of the apartment, there are many restaurants and convenience stores, and it is located in a very good location.Monorail Makishi Station is a 15-minute walk away and has good access from the airport as well♪ We are doing unattended check-in. You can feel a nice breeze sitting on the balcony and see islands. It takes around 2 hours from Naha airport by car. You can visit the ruins of Nakijin Castle which is 10 min. away. There is a beautiful beach in 8 min. on foot. It takes about 20 min. to aquarium, and 25 min. to Kouri island by car. There are convenience stores and supermarket near there. It's perfect place to get away from busy city life. And it's very convenience for sightseeing in northern area of Okinawa island.

Due to the large size of our group, our schedule was significantly delayed, which resulted in our late arrival. At first, we had difficulty locating Pono 02. Thankfully, Russell was very responsible and always there to assist us. Moreover, the staff member was waiting for us at the front door and kindly guided me in opening it. On the second night, we played fireworks in the front yard, and on our final morning, we borrowed snorkeling equipment. Our experience at Pono 02 has left us with wonderful memories.

I stayed with my grandparents and 3-year-old son.I enjoyed the warm log house, which also had toys and picture books for children to play with. It was the last trip for my son to have his beloved grandparents to himself before he became an older brother.During the stay, the grandparents seemed very happy to be able to relax.Thanks for the wonderful breakfast too!

Chika really made us feel at home. She was so lovely during our stay. When I got sick she organized a doctor's appointment and drove us. Her cooking is incredible! Even though we initially planned to cook mostly for ourselves, in the end we almost always had dinner with her. Our children could really be themselves and they loved the garden and the proximity to the beach. We really hope to return!

Hikaru is very patient and friendly host. He is responsive and will make you feel at home. I reported the light in one of the beds and he responded if we want it to have it repaired immediately. We met the owner as well at the parking area and he is making sure that the parking lot is accessible. He even gave us instructions since we asked where to throw our garbage. Excellent place and service. Thank you.
