I stayed for only 2 days, but Eiko-san became an Okinawan grandmother to my family. To that extent, Eiko-san is a warm and kind person. He prepared a clean and hygienic accommodation, and he carefully prepared a Japanese breakfast. Meanwhile, Eiko-san has been a very good teacher to my child who studies Japanese. During our 2-day stay, he kindly explained to our child about Japanese pronunciation, Japanese culture, as well as questions, and replenished the lack of explanations using the translator. In addition, I was able to have a very pleasant time with my 3 and 6-year-old lovely granddaughters who visited, so I had an even more satisfying time. If more Koreans visit Eiko-san's house who loves Korean dramas and food, you can feel the really warm Okinawa affection.

This is a great room!Fully equipped, clean and tidy.The host's wife looked after us like a mother.Every day changing the patterns made us a great breakfast.Delicious.Every day, no matter how late we come back, my aunt will give us a shower.On the day we came back to the sea, because it was too cold, my aunt also purposely cooked us white porridge and kuduen soup, which made us drive cold.There are good restaurants and a supermarket around the house.Auntie had bikes ready for us and it was easy for us to ride out.We also cooked our own meals using the kitchen equipment.Everything was to love!Thank you again for your auntie's care.I'm going to introduce this room to everyone!

Amazing place to meet some nice people in a friendly home style stay. Ryota is just as amazing as the reviews state and will cook you breakfast whenever you wake up :)

Wonderful host. 3 of us felt warmly welcome by our host , Eiko-san. We were running late on first night coz the goggle maps led us elsewhere. She even helped to manoeuvre the vehicle from a narrow slip road back to her place. Had 2 sumptuous dinners & 2 breakfasts carefully prepped by Eiko-san. We felt totally at home with her. There’s Cookie, the 16yo doggie who hangs around the dining area and her lovely grand daughter who happens to be around for summer. We relied on google translate but that language is never a hindrance if you wish to know more about her life etc. highly recommended!

Kaz's home was the perfect spot for our party of 8. We felt right at home and could walk to the train station or Kokusaidoori for lots of eating and shopping options. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and Kaz was an excellent host. When we return to Okinawa we will definitely check Kaz's home first for availability!

We spent over a week with Francesco and it was a great stay. Francesco knows the island well and had good advice where to do some snorkeling and surfing. His surf and snorkeling equipment is in a good condition. When we needed some help with renting a car, he was very encouraging and helped us a lot. Totally recommended if you want to spent your days in Okinawa with some water activities. Cheers Hannah & Paul

Kaz’s place will always be our minshuku when we come to Naha! Great location for walking or Yui rail or bus or parking a rented car. Kaz puts a great B for Breakfast and a comfortable B for Bed in an AirBnB stay. Extremely good value, hosting, and Okinawan style experience.

Ryo and Akiko were extremely hospitable, accommodating and generous with everything! The dog Hana super kawaii. I felt very welcomed, comfortable and grateful for the stay. 💜🙏🏼

The host and his wife were always friendly, responsive, and made us feel at ease during our stay. The room seemed to have a single and twin, and this time I was able to use a compact and clean space perfect for a woman's solo trip. From the shared space, we could see the sea and it was raining, but we enjoyed watching the clouds flowing over the sea. I also felt that it was a very good place to catch a glimpse of the locals coming and going in front of the house, and it was a few minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was very delicious, with plenty of vegetables and fruits, and the bread was really delicious. The tired person will be healed, and the energetic person should get more and more energized.

I visited with a 22-month-old baby. Even though it wasn't a baby friendly accommodation, they made it a baby friendly accommodation. I would definitely visit again if I come back to Okiniwa. Thank you for making a great memory. We wish Sumiko all the best. ^ ^

A great place to stay and great host. Kaz is super friendly and helpful. He even showed us some great spots to eat and hang out. The room is small but comfortable. Kaz makes a good breakfast each morning. Definitely would stay again!
