Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Okinawa

The view of the sea beyond the living room window makes you feel like you've arrived at your travel destination. There was a pleasure in looking at the props placed all over the house. The place was very clean and there was nothing lacking for my stay. The time spent in the green environment was like a dream. It was also a great pleasure to have a restaurant right next door where you can enjoy a wonderful brunch.

Lovely place with everything we needed. Excellent communication and a friendly smile at the end of a long journey. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Great environment, highly recommend staying here if you need a relaxing trip! The house is spacious, parking is available in the yard, and it is a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the small fishing village.

Nice place and nice host. The sea is right next to the house, which you can see beautiful sunset. It was quiet at night. Will stay here next time when I visit Okinawa again^^

This home is so beautiful, wood panels and tatami mats and beautiful hand made dishes! The owner is such a lovely woman, she helped us out so much, made dinner reservations for us (a must on this island!), gave us a lift to a grocery store, picked us up from a local restaurant because it started raining pretty hard-what a genuinely nice and helpful person! It was a delightful stay, thanks in no small part to the owner! Highly recommend!

Beautiful, private country home with an enclosed yard. my 4 year old loved running circles around the house and walking down to the water. Instructions to get into the property (that had parking space) were very easy to follow as well as access to the key. Instructions were step by step to get through with pictures. The host was very responsive although I only messaged to let them know I got there and when I left. I would definitely stay again. Also, the bathtub is amazing.

The owner is really, really, really kind! On the last day, I asked if there was a scale for the baggage weight check, and he said there wasn't, so I said I'd have to go to the airport and check it again, but he bought it and brought it to me in the evening. He said it was okay because he didn't have it at home.. I was really sorry and grateful. The host let me check in really early, and he was really quick to respond to any inquiries! The house is just like a country house. It was so warm because it was like my grandmother's house. I think it would be more cost-effective if several people came and slept. There were plenty of towels, and it was really comfortable because there was nothing lacking, such as tissues, charging outlets, and disposable items. Welcome water, drinks, and beer are also available! It was really convenient to be able to wash up outside after playing in the water. You don't have to go to see the stars at night, you can see them as if they're pouring out. I went because an acquaintance went and recommended it, and I really recommend it again and again. ~!!!! I hope you get all the best. I was so grateful!

Kattaka has an incredible house for long term stays and especially if you have pets. I researched this site for awhile trying to find a place that was pet friendly, within the per diem allowance, and with enough space where we wouldn’t be falling over each other. This house was a perfect match. It has everything you need for several month stay while you house hunt. The photos do not adequately convey the space and layout…you have two separate bedrooms, with one in an L shape with two twin beds and a desk. Plenty of closet storage for luggage and items while you await your next house. There is a washing machine with drying lines outside on one of two patios. The house has covered parking and is walking distance to a Lawsons and three izakayas that serve delicious food and beers. Camp Courtney is 8 minutes away and has a 24hr gym. It took me about 24 minutes most days to reach Camp Foster via the expressway.

Great location with great customer service and the near private beach behind the house was amazing.

Pool is unusable in the cold weather, but everything is very clean and maintained well. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Nobukos house! The village and surrounding is absolutely beautiful and the people lovely! Completely fell in love with this place &the island. It was very quiet and calm. You could only hear the ocean, wind and some birds. And on a clear night you can see the most amazing stars in the sky. We do recommend using a rent a car while staying there. Although there is a bus, its only few times a day and takes away the spontaneity. It works for a few days but for longer stays, it’s better to have a car also to buy food etc. We totally recommend this Airbnb. It was clean and neat. It was by far the best equipped we ever had. From cosmetic products to kitchen items. There was everything you could possibly need! It felt cosy and homely! Although we only wrote with Nobuko, she is the most lovely and helpful host you could have. She helped us so much, even when we had trouble with our driving liscence. Thank you so much ! We hope to be back some day!

Amazingly beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There’s 1 walkable ramen noodle place within 5 minutes, numerous vending machines around, beach is literally 5 minutes or less walking distance. Feels like your own private beach. Spectacular views from the bedroom and tub. I advised you to make sure to use street view on Google maps so you are aware what street to look for when near. Google maps took me a few hundred feet away from the address. Would not recommend a huge vehicle as it’s a small narrow street with cars parked on the side. There is a bit of a steep hill but don’t worry your vehicle will go up it just find. I used a Honda fit and had no issues. Nearby are some castle ruins, about 3 minutes away (left turn from the bus stop/vending machine.) Costco is 6 minutes away by vehicle if you are needing supplies. Most ramen places close around 2:30 -3:30 pm. Host was amazing, place was clean and amazing. I would like to come back on my next trip.

A very nice area and place to stay. Without a car, but very bad, otherwise you are not mobile. Great is to have both swimming pool and sea. Josh is very friendly and takes great care of his guests.

It was clean and I had a relaxing time with great care. There was a change of schedule due to the typhoon, but they handled it flexibly and politely. We'd love to stay again.

Great staycation with the family. The house was located in a nice and quiet area, the rooms were well kept and the sheets were super soft! The kitchen was roomy and we enjoyed the clean and spacious bathroom. The kids lived in the pool and only came out to occasionally snack! A few small inconvenience was that there wasn’t a sink in the upstairs bathroom, but for a short stay, a minor issue. The pool was heated and enjoyable, but had a lot of dead bugs floating inside it. Beyond that, the house setup was fun, they had a beer dispenser and keg (we don’t drink but can see how people would love that!), and the owner made sure to leave detailed instructions prior to check in so that we can enjoy our stay without reaching out with a question every 5 mins. We will be recommending a stay here to all our friends and will absolutely visit again in the near future! Thank you for the great stay!!

The beach was also close and it was a very pleasant environment.The room was spacious and in a great location.I would like to use it again.

Great location, not far from the sand It feels like home

I was based in Eve Beach, so I am very satisfied.However, there are few shops around, so you can fully enjoy it if you rent a car.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! We were in Tokyo and Osaka for a few days and this little oasis and peaceful retreat was exactly what we needed. We didn’t plan our transportation very well, so definitely get a car so you can drive to places. We were able to walk to a few spots and even to our Blue Cave tour so that was no problem! All our worries melted away here. Eddie even offered to drive us somewhere if we needed so the host ratings are top notch! Thank you Eddie and we can’t wait to come back one day!

The room is quiet and nice around a residential area!! The amenities provided exactly as the photos were complete The hosts are all very nice to respond instantly with no problems at all! Friends in your group really like to feel at home🤍

Great location right near the bus stop and the Yonabaru railway museum. A 15 minute walk from the sea (30 minutes to the Nishihara swimming beach). I would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway vacation house. 10 minutes away from grocery store. 15 minutes away from Kauri island. We were 9 total with pets which they had everything needed for dogs during the stay, even the little dog park they had was outstanding. They had complete amenities and also a water dispenser. Would recommend this place.

Good house for those with a pet. Owner was responsive to any issues. Rooms aren't sound proof from the roads outside but it wasn't much of an issue. Has all amenities that you need. Plenty of rooms as well. Overall I would stay here again for sure!
