Ocean View with a view

RahelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Doug’s place offers a serene and peaceful escape, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The cabin has a unique charm and comes equipped with all the essentials. While the kitchen counter is a bit small for cooking, and occasional visits from ants and mosquitoes are part of the tropical setting, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This little oasis served as an excellent base for exploring nearby highlights such as Volcano National Park, Green Sand Beach, and snorkeling at Honaunau Bay. Unfortunately, the closer beaches are currently inaccessible, but our overall experience was fantastic.

This place was like living in paradise! So beautiful decorated, very clean, and comfortable. The views were amazing! We canceled some of our activities on the island to spend more time there! It is very private and you have to try the outdoor shower! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Kohala Loke Lani, Big Island

TheresaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Pamela and John were incredible hosts and were so instrumental to our Aloha experience! They were so kind, generous and helpful to us during our weeklong stay. The ohana was super comfortable and offered everything we needed - and it is in a great location. We spent a lot of time at this beautiful place for much needed rest and relaxation due to upcoming stressors. It worked!! We felt so at home interacting and playing with the animals - especially the pups! And we will always remember the amazing sunset views from the pool - and with Dori asking us , "what are you doing?" :) Thank you for sharing your gorgeous and special place. We will be back!!

Waiola Guesthouse & Zen Garden

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a beautiful peaceful place. I loved the light created in the space and the big trees and green bushes surrounding it. It’s also close to hiking in part of the national park. I loved sitting on the balcony of the apartment in the rocking chair listening to rain and seeing the happy mama pig and her young ones roaming. As was the rescue donkey. Frogsong at night gives way to birdsong. A retreat space for me. The hosts have created a harmonious environment. I recommend Amas food truck and the Friday Saturday Italian pizza

Coffee Farm Retreat

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have visited the Big Island many times and by far...Roy and Joy's Coffee Farm Retreat is our favorite place to stay. We plan our visit around the availability of their wonderful slice of heaven. The house is even better than pictured...it's clean, well stocked, the showers are always warm and the beds are super comfy. The view of the farm and ocean is breathtaking. (We always arrive at night and look forward to waking up and seeing the beauty!!!) Don't be afraid about the drive up to the farm. All that being said...Roy and Joy are the reason to stay at their retreat. They are lovely people. They share delicious produce and coffee from their farm and always have good advice as to where to visit on the island. We can't express how welcome and "at home" we feel when there and it's truly like saying good bye to family when we leave.

New Big Island Country Waimea Home Right in Town

AmyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I cannot say enough good things about Brian's place! The location was ideal - close to downtown, great place to take a leisurely walk, and close to a playground for our little one. The home was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Having access to a washer and dryer was a big plus as well! We would stay here again for sure, and we definitely recommend it to anyone come to Weimea!

It was so refreshing to have a host who thought ahead to make our stay as easy, comfortable and convenient as possible. From supplying beach essentials to providing a fully stocked kitchen, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We were especially astounded by the cool beach towels, how innovative!

Private Paradise Organic Farm Stay with Ocean View

JanetRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at Krista’s was perfect! Krista was a very responsive host. The house is a little ways from the coast and beaches but close to a large grocery stores and several restaurants (don’t miss Gypsea Gelato!). It is in a beautiful and quiet location with a peekaboo view of the ocean. We loved being serenaded by the coqui frogs in the evening and the birds in the morning. The house is spacious and had everything we needed, including beach chairs, a cooler and snorkel gear. We hope to be back!

Wonderful location! The view from the balcony was amazing - we loved sitting outside and watching the sunset each night. The kids enjoyed the goats, roosters, and cats. The house was bigger than expected and the kitchen had everything we needed. All in all, it was a great vacation and we can’t wait to come back!

Definitely a 5 star ⭐️ we loved it and will be back for sure! Only 1 problem was getting there cause we didn’t realize it was so far up which turned out to be perfect because the wedding we were going was only 3 min away. Bonus was the washer & dryer and beautiful horses. Super clean and very cool. Glad we stayed here over a hotel. Thank you 🤙🏻

WOW! What an amazing place to stay. The screened in porch has views of the ocean and is a great place to spend the day. The farm is incredible. I loved trying the fresh fruit and hearing all the birds. The hosts are absolutely incredible, thoughtful, and very kind. This home is a true gem. Private Home: Organic Farm Ocean & Sunset Views

LaurenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Immaculate home. Spectacular view of the ocean from the lanai. Having three bedrooms close to main area is great for younger children. Towels, body board available for the beach. Lots of pots, pans, and non-breakable dishes! Air fryer, soda stream and other upper level amenities included. Michelle also sent recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, beaches, etc. and there is also a house book. She also offered to assist with getting local produce and/or fish, steaks. We watched many sunsets and sunrises from the lanai and enjoyed meals from there also. It’s probably the best feature of the house. We loved that it had room enough for five to six people yet, had space enough for us to do our individual things. Remodeled bathroom is beautiful. Outdoor shower is great for rinsing off after beach time. Washer and dryer were a must have with three kids. All in all, this place was home away from home for us. Kids hated to leave just as much as we did! Highly recommend thi

Kona Coffee Vacation Rental Holualoa

SaundraRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We enjoyed our stay at Donna and Robbie's listing! My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and they left us a few thoughtful and celebratory goodies that made us feel welcomed. The view and outside seating area are great; I wish we had spent more time there. It's also conveniently located. Kona is only about 15 minutes away, so there was a lot to see and do nearby.

Holualoa Hale

AdamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lynn is a great host and her apartment is perfectly located in a tranquil setting. If you are looking for a quiet and well appointed apartment that is still close enough to drive to town, this is it. We used Lynn’s apartment as a base for the Kona Ironman. The location up the mountain allowed an escape from the hustle of town and respite from heat in the evenings. Perfect!

Main Hale on Ohia Malu Sanctuary in South Kona

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had an outstanding stay at Kat and Joe's place. It was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. They provided very specific instructions on how to get to the property as well as how to access, including pictures. Everything was pristine inside which made for a great stay. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. We had the opportunity to chat with Joe, who was making sure that our stay was going well. They are great hosts. We would absolutely recommend this property and stay there again on our next visit!

Classic Kona 🤙🏻 \\ Epic Ocean View 🌊 \\ Pool 🏊

StephanieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
WOW!!! What a stunning view! The house was so perfect for our family of 4. Clean and comfortable with soooo many fun adventures close by like night snorkeling with the Manta Rays and looking for sea turtles at a beach about 15 mins away and a spectacular Luau just down the street at the Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. We enjoyed day outings as well that required about an 1-1.5 hours away but soooo worth it! Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls were highlights. Sunrise and Mauna Kea was amazing. Jason was an amazing host. Always responded quickly and gave incredible recommendations. We loved our time in Kona!

Hawai'i paradise at Kona Isle

ErinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a wonderful stay! This place was perfect, and had every single thing we could possibly need during our visit: A scrub brush after our Captain Cook hike for our tennis shoes, white vinegar to soak the feet in for the sea urchin stings after snorkeling (oops!), a washing machine after our horseback ride, and an air fryer for our egg bites each morning for breakfast from Costco. We loved the pool and having a condo on the water...and even tried out the fish 🐟 trap once. We ate Randy's Huli Chicken & Ribs BBQ one night down at the oceanside picnic table. YUM! We'll be back real soon. Mahalo!

Zen Orchid retreat, amazing view, fresh fruit! :)

SeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lorelle’s place is a gem. It was a memorable part of our stay in Kona as she was a great host and made us feel at home by giving us a tour of her property and even invited us to pick avocados with her. She has chickens and brought us fresh eggs which we made for breakfast each morning and she even made us banana bread once. It’s a nice location if you’re looking to feel like you’re on an island while still being a close driving distance to the town of Kona. Her place was very comfortable and was also peaceful at night hearing all the sounds of nature. Will be staying here on our next visit!

Zen Sanctuary, Jungle Vibes on Mountainside

YutingRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
kJ’s home was beautiful and had everything we needed while staying near Kona. It had all the listed amenities and things we didn’t even realize would help! (Dehumidifier, extra blankets, drying rack). It was a in a fantastic location (easy to get to the beaches and shops, but far away enough it was quiet and cool) The outdoor lanai was wonderful - great for breakfast, reading a book, or watching the sunset, and the bed (memory foam) was incredibly comfortable! Highly recommend this spot to couples looking to stay a bit off the beaten path in a beautifully decorated and relaxing home.
