We loved our stay at Kerrine's place! The grounds were beautiful and we loved seeing the animals. The location was perfect for exploring Volcanoes National Park. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept great! Thanks for having us!

Wendy and David were absolutely lovely. The hale was gorgeous, perfectly integrated with nature. The lanai and bathroom are gems. We had the most delicious orange / tangerine of our lives right off the tree in the front yard.

Coffee Farm Retreat

PeterRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our second trip to Roy and Joy’s, and we hope to come back again. This place is a gem, the house is lovely, with a nice kitchen, great space to hang out and beautiful surroundings. Also you get treated to the most gorgeous sunsets you can possibly imagine. The location is a little out of the way but you are close to amazing snorkeling beaches and several nice local spots for food, though we have done most of our own cooking while visiting. Roy and Joy themselves are incredibly gracious hosts with lots of knowledge about the area. It’s been a pleasure to get to know them. While the road to the house is a bit rough it’s no problem to get there even in a sedan if you drive slow. We genuinely can’t recommend this place enough.

Big Island Cottages #1

JulieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cherie’s cottage was a fantastic place to stay, I wish we could have moved it around the island with us and stay there every night! We stayed one night on our way to Volcano from Kona, and it is the perfect halfway point. Such a beautiful location, my kids loved seeing the wild animals. We also loved being first in line at Punalu’u bake shop as it is within a one minute drive. My husband also loved chatting about island life with her husband. I would 100% recommend staying here, and it will definitely be on my list for a must stay next time I’m in Hawaii!

Beautiful Hawaiian home and great location. Home had everything we needed. Just what we were looking for away from big resorts and traffic. Much more than we expected from property. Truly paradise with trees, flowers, birds and nice locals. Picked oranges and lemons for fresh juices. Good restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Charming 2-bedroom cottage with large screened lanai and unique view of Kealakekua Bay

LoriRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place was stunning. I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things about this place. Every evening I was gifted with an incredible sunset. The songs of the frogs lulled me to sleep each night only to wake up to the songs of the birds in the morning. The property is not only lush and green but isolated, private and wonderfully peaceful. The local Kona Only market on Sunday, the poke shop down the street, the local Hawaiian lau lau shop and the excellent Coffee Shack restaurant leave you missing nothing from the tourist center of Kailua Kona except the crowds, cars and hustle and bustle of a crowded tourist center. Great snorkeling and beaches within 15 minutes.

Kanaho Place in Holualoa

PierreRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Erin and Roger have a fantastic place. Highly recommend. They are up in the mountains in an area that is secluded and peaceful, but is only a short drive to anything you might need or want to do. The space is private and in a separate from the main household. The highlight of the trip for us was the farm around their house. We are animal lovers and we especially loved visiting their pig, Shirley, everyday. It really made our trip! :)

Family Suite Farm Stay in Kohala

KarenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We are back to visit Starseed Ranch again and again! This time we stayed in the Ohana Suite with a private bathroom and kitchen. The room was very large and beautiful with sliding screened doors and windows with a private sitting area. If you want to get away from it all and stay in gorgeous surroundings this place is it! The area near the Pololu Valley Lookout is completely magical and Starseed Ranch has its' own magic within it. The hosts are wonderful and the grounds are gorgeous with outdoor eating and sitting areas that include an outdoor gourmet kitchen as well. The yoga room that sits near the creek is a wonderful space to practice or relax in while taking in the breeze, listening to the birds, and the water running along the creek. The stars at night are amazing. We will be back every year to stay at Starseed Ranch as there is no place as magical as this. Thank you Dash and Erika!

Dragonfly Healing Farm

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was a nice place. Pretty view! Cold in the mornings, we used the space heater. The neighbors were a little noisy, someones dogs were barky too. Prepare with a small cooler if doing day trips, for beach time, there isn't one to borrow.

Kona Coffee Vacation Rental Holualoa

BrianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at Donna and Robbie’s Airbnb. The place is spacious and comfortable in a great location. The back porch looks out on a beautiful jungle of plants, and there are fantastic sunset views from the front pagoda. And there were no bugs in April! We hope to get back there again.

Peaceful Studio - Hobby Fruit Farm - Beach 10 min

AnthonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Alejandro is an excellent host, "super" in every sense! The property is unparalleled and as long as you are tech-savvy, easy to locate! Fortunately, being in the luxury travel business and familiar with remote locations in general, I made certain to have all GPS assistance with me. If not, it might have been a bit tougher to navigate. Nevertheless, the unit was very clean, quiet, cool and peaceful! Well-stocked (kitchen, bath, and supplies) with full & reliable wi-fi access, streaming services, etc. Keep in mind that the laundry services are shared and hours are limited (not located inside the unit itself). Not a big deal, but something to note for those who like to do laundry at any time of day (or night). It's hard to beat the overall beauty of this expansive farm! I highly recommend it to all and expect to return soon!

Holualoa Country Home

LonnyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A quiet, cool spot to get away from the crowds and beach area. We enjoyed the temp drop when you climb in elevation to the house. The area seemed very safe and I never worried about theft or trouble. Nice area with nice people around the house. You will be about 20 minutes from Costco and are at a central starting point to go north or south. We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the house other than to sleep and be out enjoying the Big Island.

Hidden Gem! A Honu World Close to Hanalei Bay! AC!

RomanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Staying at Michelle’s house was an absolute dream. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the peaceful setting—it felt like our own little tropical retreat. Michelle was an incredibly thoughtful and responsive host, offering great local tips and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature each morning was unforgettable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai!

Enchanting Rainforest Hideaway on 2 Private Acres

EthanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was out second stay at Connie and Andrew’s Pahoa hideaway and it was just as wonderful as the first. This property is a wonderful place for a couple to spend a relaxing vacation. We spent most mornings enjoying the rental and its lush grounds. Saw the volcano eruption from the road nearby and were in volcano less than an hour later watching it in person, only hours after it started and it was done by the next morning. The “red road” in Puna was wonderful. We enjoyed Hilo and the Hamakua coast, as well as the charm of Pahoa. There is always a bit of driving to do on the Big Island and it was a respite to return to the Pahoa hideaway and relax under the stars. Thanks for another great stay. Hope to see you again soon.
