Vacation rentals with a kayak in Kent

Lovely house with some quirky furnishings and decor, it really felt like a home from home. Peter and Alexandra were very friendly and responsive over Airbnb messages and offered help and advice freely. The location is great for the beach and you can walk for miles along the promenade. Even storm Darragh couldn't spoil our stay.

Sophie’s place is exactly what says on the tin, really beautiful, peaceful and well equipped. We’ve spent a lovely weekend there with friends, cooking and doing beach walks. It has 5 comfortable double rooms, a big dinning table and some great lounging area.

Thank you Ian & Marcia for allowing us to share your lovely home for the past 2 weeks. We had a fantastic enjoyable and relaxing break. We were wary about sharing your home with a child in case we imposed in any way. You made us feel more than welcome at all times and went above and beyond to ensure we didn’t want for anything. The property location is the best possible for the beach and the welcome you’ll receive from Ian & Marcia will ensure you have the best time possible. Right from the minute of booking Mandy and Graham were very fast to communicate and respond to messages. We found the property easily, ample off road parking was nice. Easy to get into the property and loft/attic room space also felt private and secure when inside or out as the door locks with key provided. The room was so pretty and the decor and furniture in keeping with a by the sea feel. Mandy had left some tea, coffee, sugar and little milk along with a few little packets of snacks, a nice touch and appreciated. Mandy is really lovely and accommodating, we took her suggestion of where to eat and were so pleased with it, we loved our stay and will see Mandy again, thank you 😊

STUNNING home! I’ve never stayed in such a beautiful space, so homely and spacious! The espresso machines in every room were a wonderful touch! Allister was so responsive and gave us all information we needed without having to ask any questions which was so nice and any additional queries we had, he was quick on responding. Would definitely recommend this place and will be staying again in the summer!

Very cozy and clean home located just 5 min walk away from the beautiful sandy beach and cliffs. Highly recommended for small family who enjoys staying in a beach house like us.

We had a lovely stay. It's in a beautiful location- very peaceful and with everything we needed for a quiet break away. We did initially have trouble finding the property. It's not visible from the road. We had had a couple of emails with an 'image' that we could not see so maybe we had been sent instructions that we hadn't managed to open. Having said that, Romy couldn't have been more helpful over the phone and her daughter and friend who were nearby also helped us straightaway when we had a problem with the hot water. The Swan Inn opposite is a lovely rustic pub - friendly and with good food. We enjoyed a country walk past Batemans and a visit to Battle Abbey. We also recommend the friendly little cafe next to the Post Office at Netherfield. A lovely stay and we would recommend.

Our first trip to England and Mary and her lovely cottage made it spectacular. Friendly, great communication, and just all-around cool. In wary of giving my 5+ star review for fear of contributing to this gem become too popular. Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects and will not only recommend to others in US, but plan to return. WOW! Do not hesitate to book! The house is just fantastic and just as the photos show - beautifully presented and a stunning place to stay. Allister was the most incredible host, he went above and beyond for us with assistance and extra requirements. Allister responded promptly and helpfully to all queries and questions. We could not have asked for a better house, location or host. Simply Fantastic. It was the perfect place and a short drive to Whitstable which was a great place to visit. We added on the hot tub to the booking and it was pristine and clearly cleaned. A wonderful find and could not recommend more highly. Huge thanks to Allister for everything.
