Monthly Rentals in Kaihalulu Beach

Roberta's home is magical. It's like walking into a ship at sea, ocean outside every window. And so many of them! We left them all open anytime we were inside; the endless breeze is cool when it's hot outside, yet warm when the temperature drops in the evening. I've never been anywhere like it. No AC needed. Driving around Hana itself was like being in a Studio Ghibli movie; everything green with perfect blue skies and the right number of clouds. Not a whole lot going on in town but Roberta suggested a Thai place that was outstanding. The house is down the street from a beach that seemed nice but Roberta also recommended Hamoa Beach—we made the 7 minute drive there and it was well worth it. We've stayed in many many Airbnb/vacation homes over the years, and this is my number one favorite.

the home was a great and John was very helpful throughout our stay. The instruments onsite were an added bonus as my kids were able to delicately use some of them (one currently in guitar lessons, another in piano) while I played along with my set of harmonicas. Has a heated outdoor shower which is always nice. Didn't need to bring our own beach towels and there was plenty of beach equipment available including chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. As to be expected of a jungle beach side home there are ants, termites, and critters, but none were ever a problem through our 4 night stay. No AC, but that was never a problem. Fans in all the rooms. View from the upper deck is amazing, and every morning we watched the sunrise before going out to the beaches and such. Food around town can close early so being mindful of that can be important if you want some of the best in Hana if not the whole island (braddah hutts and huli huli chicken for starters). overall, highly recommend staying here!

Nice stay in Hana, house is above town, which makes for a nice breeze and distant views of ocean. it's on a slightly busy road but set off it, so feels private. We did walk along it but there are no side walks so not really a pedestrian area. Near the beach and 1/2 mile from some decent food trucks. Kitchen well stocked, so easy to cook there. electric grill appreciated.

Luana cottage is a garden Paradise! It is beautiful and calming from the second you step on the property. The master BR is spacious and the second bedroom is particularly lovely and charming. The kitchen was well stocked and everything you need is there except for coffee. It would be a nice touch to leave coffee and some creamer. We appreciated the beautiful bouquet of fresh tropical flowers. All the linens and textiles are very nice, and there's just a pervasive Good Vibe throughout the cottage. It is a good location, not too far from Hana and many interesting activities. Don't miss the short hike to the base of Fagan's cross - something we didn't expect and found out by accident when we talked with locals. Note that the cottage offers an outside shower in the back. Although we did not use it, we thought that was a nice option. One of our favorite parts was sitting out on the Lanai and looking out over the beautifully groomed grounds. Overall, a wonderful stay!
