Monthly Rentals in Independence Monument

This is a great little place with a shed for bike storage. It’s down the street from two bike shops, restaurants, and 2 local coffee shops. You can literally walk there in 60-90 seconds. The place was nicely remodeled and feels more spacious than the photos feel. The kitchen has a lot of what you need to cook healthy meals and make smoothies. Some little things I liked were dimmer lighting, decorative light tree, heat fan in the bathroom, love seat to kickback on to read or to watch some TV. It’s mostly a quiet location. Someone mentioned a train - while this is true, it’s not horribly disruptive, and I like quiet. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood. You can ride and walk from the door to the multi-purpose path to ride out to Kokopelli and to Grand Junction. And you have great hosts who are kind, helpful, and responsive, which are important characteristics IMO. I’ll be returning.

Beautiful spot - - - super cute cottage - - - near the base of the Colorado National Monument. All as described, but beware the second bedroom does not have a door, just a curtain. We enjoyed the stay and will keep it in mind for future visits to the Grand Valley.

If Fruita is the hidden gem of Colorado, then Kelley & Dane are the crown jewels! We immediately felt at home in their larger-than-expected home. There is plenty of space downstairs for two active adults and the upstairs loft is perfect as a reading nook, workspace, or extra storage. Kelley & Dane are the perfect hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable including suggestions for the tastiest local restaurants and the best recreation activities in the area. The kitchen is well stocked with any tool you'll need for meals and the full-sized oven and fridge are perfect if you have any leftovers from the great eateries in town. The bedroom is very cozy, complete with under-the-bed storage, a closet, and a clean washer and dryer! The bathroom is bigger than you would expect and has lots of storage. All the drawers/cabinets in the house are quiet close! Needless to say, this is the best Airbnb experience we have ever had and it's all thanks to Kelley & Dane!!

Amazing and responsive host. The washer was not working when I first arrived, it was fixed within a day of notification. Cathy was available and responsive throughout my month stay. The entire loft is full length windows, amazing views!
