Monthly Rentals in Ickwell

Just had a lovely couple of days away here. The long barn is in a really peaceful, quiet area. Ruth communicate well before and during our stay. Ruth showed us around when we arrived and checked all was OK when we bumped into her when we popped out. The place was clean, well stocked kitchen utensils etc and milk waiting in the fridge for a cuppa. The bed was huge and comfy. Ruth even left us a birthday card. lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Robbie sent additional directions with photos that made his place easy to find. Check in was super easy. We were able to park on the drive, which added some security, but as the area is rural it feels very safe. Robbie and family were parking on the road, opposite their gate, which has very little traffic as it's only an access road to a small number of properties. The bed was soft but very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided for cooking and making tea and coffee, including a small fridge freezer. The shower room is fully equipped, shower is adequate, and there's a big mirror above the basin. We would definitely like to stay here if we are ever in the area again.

We always stay with Gill when we’re over in Bedford visiting our family. Her place is convenient, homely and ideal for us, and is great value for money. Gill is so lovely and welcoming, and she even brought down books and toys for our daughter, and left an Easter egg and bunny for her on the Sunday. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town, thanks Gill!

Very comfortable stay. Has everything you need, kitchen had everything we needed and was well stocked with things you need such as oil, tea, coffee, foil, washing up liquid and much more. Everywhere was extremely clean, good quality furnishings and well maintained. Lovely little outdoor seating area. Very quiet, we didn’t get disturbed by anything. Good parking for two cars. Nice to get the milk and hot cross buns too. Thanks for having us stay.
