Vacation rentals with a kayak in Hocking County

This house is even more beautiful than the pictures. It was tastefully decorated for the holidays and she left some lights on for our arrival. The space is warm and inviting and we felt immediately at home. The house is impeccably decorated, both modern and cozy. Comfortable furnishings, soft textiles, gorgeous plants, perfect lighting, great views. The perfect space to relax and enjoy. Ashley is an ideal host. She is kind and thoughtful. You can tell she really wants her guests to feel welcome. She was always available to answer a quick question or suggest a recommendation. She even remembered my daughter's birthday! We took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and went on a great hike nearby. We also went into "town." Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is a fun quirky shop that's worth a visit. Overall, a great stay. Will absolutely stay at Ashley's again in the future.

We had a blast! We came down for a weekend with 3 couples and 4 children and the house was the perfect size and space! The pool is awesome and the lake and surrounding area are awesome! 100% will stay again and recommend to others!

Nice quaint spot pretty close to all the trails of hocking hills. Felt private enough despite having a few neighbors near bye. Great fishing spot just a walk away from the cottage. Only issue was that there is no air conditioning from what we saw. Tried lowering the thermostat but didn’t do anything. Couldn’t find any air vents for where an AC would come from. Recommend bringing fans for the hotter months but luckily it wasn’t too hot and opening the windows brought a good breeze in.

Rachel was amazing about responding quickly whenever we reached out and her team did a great job correcting the few issues we had. Our family had a WONDERFUL time. Thanks so much!!! Pros: - jacuzzi - arcade area - quiet atmosphere and proximity to Hocking Hills Cons: - one of the two entrances to the community had more than a few potholes - the lawn was being redone, so it was challenging keeping the mud at bay due to rain - three of the bedrooms don't have doors, as noted in the listing

Our family could not recommend this place enough. It was a perfect place for our family of 11 to stay! The kids were outside 95% of the time, whether they were in the pool or playing games in the yard, it was very kid friendly! You can tell that Tonya has high standards on who cleans her house and her swimming pool because they were immaculate. We had minor house issues (that come along with owning any property) and Tonya and her husband were very responsive and helpful! We will be back.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here. Everything was clean and I was impressed that the kitchen was very well stocked. The hot water flowed great so the showers were glorious. The only thing that I noticed was the bed seemed to be a little wobbly.

Beautiful place. Exactly as. described. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything needed to make breakfast. Never seen so many light switches in a place before. So happy they were all labeled. Will stay here again.

Love this cabin! Our second stay here. Comfortable and roomy in a beautiful setting. We especially enjoy the electric fireplace, very cozy! 1st Choice Cabin Rentals hosts are helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely try to book this Airbnb next time.

I hate to give a such a glowing review because I don’t want to generate more competition to rent it in the future, but this venue was wonderful. We stayed this location for OU Mom’s Weekend & it was a fantastic choice! It was the perfect place to relax, connect and unwind when we weren’t in Athens. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted. It was a convenient Uber ride away & perfect for a group of moms. If you want a sweet place tucked away from the hustle with some cool country amenities, then this is the rental for you. It looks like they’re in the process of making improvements, but honestly the imperfections were part of its charm. Highly recommended!

Very clean & very cozy!

Very beautiful location and even though you have neighboring cabins it still had good privacy. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

What a beautiful place to stay! Peaceful and in the woods, just what we wanted. We had no idea we would be in a camp ground. There were decent trails right there, which was nice, but definitely don’t miss Hocking Hills! A couple amenities were listed in the AirBnb listing that are no longer offered, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and I thought wood for the fireplace was included—which it was until the last day, then we were told to buy it for $5/bundle. The listing just needs tweaked. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and make a couple dinners, so kitchen was well equipped. Over all, a great place to spend a short honeymoon. I will return if we don’t have our RV next trip. And…. Might call to see if we can park here a couple days if we do have it.

Beautiful Loft, responsive host, easy to get to.

Loved the cabin, great spot to stay for our hiking adventures. Didn’t realize it was in a campground, but the cabin still felt private and the facility was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin we stayed at was very clean. Location is good, about 15-20mins away from main trials. We didn’t get a chance to explore Logan lake, but the view of the lake from the deck is great. The staff members are friendly and responsive. We will book again.

Our stay was wonderful! The campground is in a perfect location, near the shops and restaurants of Logan but right on the way to all the attractions of Hocking Hills. The cabin was perfect for a last-minute couple’s getaway weekend. The bed, kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The SoloStove on the deck was great for relaxing each night. The cabin looked brand new. Everything was spotless and honestly looked better than the photos! Thanks to Hilltop for hosting us and making it a wonderful weekend!
