Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Hocking County

The property and house were absolutely gorgeous. Even with the rain we had a fabulous time and still used the hot tub. Was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed and the coffee bar was well stocked! Perfect location for OU’s mom’s weekend with my girls.

The house was beautiful! Definitely need 4x4 to get back there though! Even with AWD we slid down the last hill before the house because of the snow/ice mixture. We did finally make it and had a wonderful weekend with friends! Beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake and to look out all day at the snow! Would love to make time to come back in the summer months!

We had a wonderful stay and have nothing but good things to say. The drive to Hocking Hills State Park was an easy 20 minutes. There is a Walmart not too far away for forgotten items. The house itself was great. The kids loved sharing a bunk room with cousins and the hot tub. It had everythinf we needed. Jacob was very responsive and helpful. Hocking Hills is a beautiful area and if we make it back, we would totally stay here again.

I have been in homes in NC, TN, MI and now OH and this home far exceeded any others I've stayed at. Every room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. There were little touches everywhere to make guests feel more at home, or in case you forgot some necessities. The weather didn't cooperate much during our stay so we were thankful for the covered hot tub and had a movie night in which was cozy. Absolutely recommend this home to others.

Spacious, peaceful setting for a family gathering. Clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Close to Old Man’s Cave and the wonderful beauty of the State Park. We would enjoy returning to this property again.

Brookside cottage was a magical experience in terms of its location. The creek the water running the woods. It’s just spectacular. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was clean. You had everything that you needed. Location was quite peaceful. It was everything that we wanted. I spent a mom’s weekend there with my daughter from Ohio University, and we also enjoyed the hot tub despite the rain.

We had a great time at the house. It was very modern and well equipped. We enjoyed the house, hot tub, and fire pit. We would definately be willing to come back again.

We came for a relaxing week and that’s exactly what we got! Very private and just so fun to be at especially with kids. We were beyond grateful to bring pets as well.

We picked this cabin because we were looking for a rental that offered a sauna. Everything on the property was clean and in operating order (including the sauna :-) ) The arrival instructions were very helpful. The cell phone service was sketchy, and the tip to screenshot the door code was very helpful. Brian also shared some common feedback about finding the drive to the cabins, and that was helpful. We did message about one thing - it had stormed in the area prior to our arrival, and we did ask if there were any issues as a result of the storms. I did not get a response until after we checked out. There were no issues. Airbnb strongly recommends you communicate with hosts only through the app, and that is how we messaged. Brian did include other contact information, and maybe that would have yielded a quicker response. We were following the Arrbnb guidelines. The pre-arrival communication and tips were very helpful, so I will give credit for that, and it is well deserved.

We had the pleasure of staying in this incredible Villa last weekend. The Villa was one of the cleanest and nicest we have ever stayed in. The hot tub was very clean and the private fire pit area was perfect for the cool nights. It is also very convenient to all of the hikes that Hocking Hills State Park has to offer. We would highly recommend staying here or any of the other villas the Hugga in the Hills has to offer!

Such a wonderful place to stay. Will definitely come back. Everything was smooth and the place was amazing.

Our stay at Shu’s place exceeded my expectations. We have a family of 7 with a Goldendoodle. Sometimes it is hard to please the entire group when booking. The house was spotless inside with great appliances. We were able to move flawlessly from inside modern features (pool table, movie room, air hockey, multiple TV’s, gaming systems, board games) directly outside to a feeling of solitude. Beautiful lake views sitting in the hot tub, kids making smores at the camp fire, and some family members fishing from the dock at the same time. We went to visit my daughter at Ohio University and to see Hocking Hills. It was the perfect location between the two. Easy 5 min trips to Walmart for anything forgotten. Bait shop 2 min away from the property. A cool coffee shop out of an airstream 2 min away. It was special to feel so alone in nature but be so close to anything that we needed. To top it all off, schedules changed and Shu was able to provide us with a late checkout. GREAT LAUNDRY as well!

Great location - the view of the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub and the accommodations. Perfect girls' getaway!

Our cabin was nestled in the back, with plenty of privacy and the back porch looked out into the woods! My favorite part of the stay was the hot tub and the bathroom as it had a beautiful view into the woods.

Perfect cabin for a weekend get away with the girls! It was a short drive to Hocking Hills for some hiking and we enjoyed our time around the campfire making s’mores! We would love to visit again real soon!!

Oakridge was a relaxing getaway, though not as private as we expected. The cabin was clean, and the porch swing was a nice touch, but carpenter bees made outdoor time challenging. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding, though it was hard to fully relax due to the covers not dropping down, which made it hard to see if anyone was approaching. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the downstairs bed was comfortable, while the upstairs bed was too hard. The wood-burning fireplace was a nice bonus, but we couldn't use the outdoor fire pit due to a lack of chairs. The grill worked well for cooking. The location was great—close to hiking trails and waterfalls. The staff was friendly, and the cabin was well-stocked overall. However, the kitchen window didn’t lock, and there were no curtains on that window, which made us feel a bit uneasy about security.

Gorgeous cabin and exactly what we were looking for. GPS stops at the end of the drive - arriving as it got dark it would have been helpful to know ahead of time it was last home on the gravel road. Other than that it was incredibly relaxing, private, and just as described!

Cute cabin in a peaceful setting! The location was ideal—quiet and serene, yet conveniently close to the state park and several great wineries. The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Audrey was friendly and responsive, making the entire stay seamless. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others seeking a relaxing getaway.

I wish there was more stars to give because it was such an amazing place. Lori and George were so nice and accommodating. Everything you can think of they thought of and had at the cabin for us to be comfortable. I will definitely be booking this cabin again. Thank you so much for everything

it's a good little cabin. worth noting it is not as tucked away into the property as the pictures make it look and there is another larger cabin right down the road. The cabin itself is Hella cute, the hot tub is super nice, and the coffee maker is a Keurig.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was full of so many thoughtfully curated amenities beyond all the normal ones one would expect. From the amazing fresh ground coffee to linen spray in the bedroom to the basket of hiking essentials such as a map of the property, bug spray and a rain poncho! The property itself is a work in progress that holds much potential. It’s beautiful and serene and private. We hope to come back again.
