Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hocking County

Kyle was very responsive to our questions and requests. This property was very clean, spacious, and free of clutter. Updated interior and appliances with a calming atmosphere. Nice place to stay if you want to stay in town as it is not on the main drag and is across from a little church. Quiet for staying in town with off or on street parking. Nice bedrooms and large bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again in the future.

The house was beautiful! Definitely need 4x4 to get back there though! Even with AWD we slid down the last hill before the house because of the snow/ice mixture. We did finally make it and had a wonderful weekend with friends! Beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake and to look out all day at the snow! Would love to make time to come back in the summer months!

Spacious, peaceful setting for a family gathering. Clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Close to Old Man’s Cave and the wonderful beauty of the State Park. We would enjoy returning to this property again.

A Perfect Sanctuary for Rest & Connection. Our group of six mothers and business owners came here for a much-needed getaway to rest, restore, and connect—and this cabin was the perfect sanctuary for just that. Nestled in a beautiful wooded lot, it offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Fireplace + hot tub were a plus! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the setup for movie nights was simply the best! We couldn’t have asked for a more ideal retreat. We will definitely be back. Thank you again! — The Soul-Pod

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at Vicki and John's cabin! It was just as described and pictured. Very clean, amazing amenities, and Vicki was immediately responsive when we had an issue with the hot tub. It is very secluded which we wanted, but we were also able to go to Walmart and had dinner at 58 West which is only 20 min away. The property is beautiful and made for a nice, quiet winter getaway. We will definitely come back!

My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

Very experienced corporate traveler who is tired of typical hotel accommodations. I came across this home, reasonably priced, and beautiful accommodation. I highly recommend it to anyone needing accommodations in the area.

We had a fantastic time at Valley View! The kids never wanted to leave. the weather wasn't great so they didn't play outside on the pickleball court, but they were so busy in the game room it didn't matter! I honestly thought they'd be in the pool the whole time but the game room was so fun, they spent most of their time playing. The house had plenty of space for all 16 of us and our 2 dogs! We were very comfortable and there were local food places where we could order in and let the kids keep playing as much as they wanted! In the photos online it looks like the bunk room doesn't have a door to close it off but it DOES have a barn style door to close that gives it some privacy. That was a nice surprise! The only disappointment was that the dogs aren't allowed to swim in the pool. However with the long, shared driveway, the fenced in basketball/ pickleball court, and spacious house they had plenty of opportunities for daily exercise! Everyone was exhausted each night from the fun!

This is such a great property. Had a family reunion of 10. Had plenty of room. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Brandi was so nice. Messaged me all the information even before I asked for it. There's lots to do close by. Beautiful home.

We had a lovely trip at Villa Prairie. The property is very peaceful and cozy. The villa is tastefully decorated and clean. We didn’t get to explore trails due to inclement weather but it was pretty to watch the snow fall from the warmth of the fireplace. There was a private snowplow that came and cleared the road very quickly which was appreciated. We hope to return in warmer weather!

Great location - the view of the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub and the accommodations. Perfect girls' getaway!

This place was charming, cozy, refreshing and perfect for our annual marriage getaway without a children! We loved the aesthetic of the interior and exterior as well as the sauna. The only annoyance, which was minor, was the indoor gas fireplace was temperamental, however, I know they can be! Furthermore, Laura had a maintenance person come out to the cabin right away even though we didn't request it. We'd love to come back later this year when it's warmer and invite my brother and his family! Thank you for being an above-and-beyond host Laura.
