Seedwood Barn

This airbnb was beautiful, a lovely relaxing place, with view over the hills. The place was equiped with everything you may need, the lounge area was really comfty, bedrooms lovely. The host came to check if we needed anything when we arrived, and recommended a great place to go for dinner. A lovely touch was a handmade cake waiting for us when we arrived. I would love to stay here again and will recommend this place to anyone.

The Annex at The Oaks

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Trudy was a lovely host, she made sure we were greeted as soon as we arrived at the property and shown around. The property is stunning, absolutely spotless and filled with lovely little touches that made for a luxurious stay. From the attention to detail as you explore the property you can really tell Trudy truly cares to give her guests the best possible experience. All the little things really made this a perfect stay, along with of course the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have a little relaxing retreat. If 10 stars was an option I would definitely give it, we will definitely be back in the future!
The entrance features a whitewashed wall with a welcoming door and a sloped roof. Greenery, including climbing plants and flowering pots, adorns the pathway, enhancing the rustic charm of the property. A tree provides shade nearby, showcasing the tranquil rural surroundings.

Hygge in Herefordshire. Stable Cottage

AnthonyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Fiona's place is a cute but well-equipped one set in a private and peaceful area but with close amenities. We loved our stay at Stable Cottage. Fiona went over and above to accommodate us and ensure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We even got to say hello to two of her furry hosts. Dougie loves to play!

A cosy space with beautiful surroundings. Bridget and Wil were lovely; they gave easy directions after we got lost on the way! Took a hike nearby which had amazing views. The rooms were well heated and we really enjoyed the board games provided. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and the place was very clean :) thanks a lot!!

Beautiful stay near River Wye

SasithaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Absolutely loved our stay at Heidi's place! The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated- everything we needed for a comfortable stay was right there. Heidi was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and made us feel super welcome. The location was perfect too-quiet and peaceful, but still close to everything we wanted to see and do. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The Nest @ Woonton

KristenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an amazing stay at the nest! It is a lovely peaceful location with plenty of space! The wood fire was warm and cosy and the sofa was so comfy and honestly a big selling point for us and lovely to chill on in an evening! The property was clean and just so so lovely! The hosts are very helpful, quick to respond and answered all our questions quickly. It honestly is a beautiful place to stay. It is quite rural but we wanted that as we live in a city it was nice to be in a quiet space! We drove into Ludlow about 35 minute drive and had an amazing meal at a restaurant called The French Pantry I really recommend this place it was extremely good food! The cooking facilities at the nest are great with everything you need so we also cooked as well. The bathroom is lovely and feels brand new! I really recommend this. We could 100% come back xxx

Nuthatch Chalet

WillRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Truly lovely weekend. Matt was amazing throughout, his instructions to get there are great as it’s remote. He also helped us complete the last bit of the journey as we were unsure. Check in was very friendly and he clearly has a love of the area. He recommended us some walks and places to visit/eat. Nothing was too much. Hot tub had been lit for us ahead of time so was already up to temperature. Very private area with only their house and an annex on the plot but you wouldn’t know they were there. Very dog friendly and backing onto the woodland was ideal. Would definitely stay again! Thank you both!

Cosy Rustic Cottage in Jacobean Farmhouse grounds

RichardRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This is a unique and stunning property - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideal for 2 small dogs on bonfire night, well away from any noise, people or traffic. Cottage is very comfortable with everything you need - the sofa bed is very comfortable and we had a great sleep - so we are going to buy one! Jude is very helpful and friendly and worth checking his website to learn more about what he and his family are doing and vision for the property. The main house is stunning. Only issue we had was finding the place - combination of a stitch up between the sat nav, mobile phone which lost reception and w3w coupled with a very later than planned arrival. Jude very kindly came out and rescued us and took us to the property. It is easy to find - head up Bickey Lane, over the railway bridge and keep going past the sign for ‘Gated Road’ on LhS - driveway is about 200m after the junction. Look for house sign “Upper Lowbourn”. Be sure to bring a torch and your wellies!!

We had a lovely stay at Hare cottage. Mary & Chris are spritely and welcoming hosts, whom quicly made us feel at home. The accommodation is spacious and self contained and offers stunning views of the Herefordshire countryside. Both Ross On Wye and the Forest of Dean are within 30 minutes or so by car, making this a great place to stay for going out and getting stuck in to the forsest bike trails and fishing or canoeing along the river Wye. Ross On Wye offers plenty of choice to eat and drink. We will certainly be visiting again in the future!

A delightful dog friendly cosy cottage for two

DianeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a gem? Little cottage in the countryside overlooking fields, horses etc., just what we like. We had comprehensive instructions of everything relating to the cottage and the bed was so very comfortable, best nights sleep for ages! Penny was so helpful with our little old deaf dog. This was the first time we had taken her away as she has had a chequered history so it was encouraging to see her settle in well. We were made very, very welcome. Thank you Penny, we hope to be back.
