Romantic Idyllic Nuthatch Cottage with Hot Tub

LisaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Had a wonderful stay at Meg's cottage, as a family of four with two children, 3 and 5. The cottage was well suited to small children, with safety features, beautiful grounds to explore and no unnecessary clutter and ornaments (a personal pet hate in air bnbs when travelling with young children!). Meng was friendly and responsive. Perfect stay, thank you!

The cider is lovely as well! Make sure to get yourself some. Plenty of walking trails around, our dog loved the place. Also Ewyas Harold, Is pretty local with a couple of nice pubs and a great chippy.

Centre of Ludlow, free parking and pet friendly

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Location was perfect for exploring Ludlow and all of its history and eateries. Close to market square; the castle and was still quiet and peaceful. We forgot our toiletries but fortunately the property is close to all the shops so that was no bother at all. The house itself was the perfect space, especially the enclosed garden for our two dogs. We really appreciated the old fashioned character of the property and would love to come back to Ludlow and stay again.

Period cottage in quiet location near Ludlow

StephenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great place for peace and quiet. Beautiful cottage surrounded by countryside and wildlife. Only minor point I can comment is on the electric shower. it would be lovely to upgrade to cylinder fed hot water (a mixer tap on bath with shower hose and head is all that's needed) as this didn't quite hit the mark. other than that, all great.

Quirky, romantic, rural cottage, with own garden

Fabulous unusual Airbnb- an oasis of calm within beautiful woods, and a well- kept formal garden. -An escape from the world. However, everything you need is there, including a lovely welcome pack. ( tea and cookies on arrival) We were left alone to enjoy our weekend, but with Miriam at the end of the phone if we needed her. Many thanks. Would highly recommended

Being At The Cottage - Idyllic Forest Retreat

AmyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Perfect get away, was so peaceful. Locals are friendly and the area is beautiful. the cottage was amazing very old lovely worn steps in the kitchen. Great amenities. would recommend getting some hard wood that burns for longer than the logs that are provided, we had to use more than was recommended. You really do not get a signal in the whole valley which was bliss so you can really unwind. The bed was lovely, just what was needed after a long day walking pillows and cover were perfect.

Kit Cottage, Mocktree Barns, nr Ludlow

LibbyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Me and my dog stayed in Kit Cottage and we didn't want to leave!! The cottage is so homely and cosy! The area is absolutely beautiful, especially sitting by the water in Leintwardine Town with a drink after walking down. Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd was absolutely beautiful and we watched the birds of prey at the top. You can drive all the way up if you have mobility issues etc. We had the most incredible, peaceful few days and Andrea was very friendly and accommodating. There were no sheep currently in the fields next to the property so my girl was able to have some off lead exercise. The book of local walks was also invaluable. I couldn't recommend this gem more! We'll be back for another break away from life! 🩷

Superb Forest of Dean cottage. 'Wye' not stay?

RosieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely stay in the cottage. Perfect for a few days exploring the Forest of Dean. Really easy to get to the cycle centre, Symonds Yat and other local walks so we didn’t venture far like we had planned. Nice to be able to come back to a comfy, warm cottage after our days out, get the clothes clean and relax in comfy beds. Thank you for great communication and helping us find the cottage.

Restful rural views, alpacas, wildlife…Perry Pear

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely, relaxing cottage - would recommend! Walks straight from the door into the forest, and a great place to come back to and rest. Really well equipped and clean cottage. Loved seeing the alpacas and the sheep, as well as the local wildlife and stargazing at night. Well situated with just a short drive to places to explore - or easy enough to get out to Gloucester or Bristol.

Welsh Cottage - Dog friendly, Tandem hire included

StefanaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved our stay at the Welsh Cottage. Everything is as described and shown in pictures, Paul & Angela went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and all the small details have made a difference. The area is beautiful, remote and quiet which is just what we needed, with lovely pubs nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The recommendations in the guide were super helpful. Make sure to take advantage of the bike hire (we had the Tandem) as the surrounding are stunning for a bike ride on a sunny day. Will definitely be back!

Secluded vineyard cottage with sublime scenery

OliviaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Staying at Susan’s magical vineyard cottage was an absolute dream. Tucked away in the stunning Welsh countryside, it felt like a peaceful retreat from the world—surrounded by nature, birdsong, and breathtaking views. Despite its remote location, I felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. Susan is truly a fantastic host: warm, thoughtful, and always quick to help with anything you might need, without ever intruding on your space. You can tell she’s poured her heart into creating a space that’s both beautiful and comfortable. The cottage itself is full of charm, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you’re looking for a magical escape with a host who genuinely goes above and beyond, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Quaint cottage, tranquil garden, bucolic views

NeilRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were sad to leave but so very happy that in our travels our paths crossed with Sophie, Michael, their homely cottage, & their magical gardens. Sophie is a terrific host—kind, considerate, generous. Our stay at Kingstone Cottage was a month long so we lived & worked from the cottage (excellent Wifi, dedicated work space, quiet surroundings). The kitchen is well equipped, bright and airy with a fantastic view of one of the many garden spaces). Tania worked from the kitchen table comfortably on several occasions. We made use of all appliances (including the vacuum, keeping the cottage clean & tidy was super easy). Shops are nearby for your everyday groceries, walkable if you take the public footpath as Sophie recommended, we did more birding this way. Another definite: spend some quiet time in the many lovingly curated private garden spaces Sophie and her husband Michael have created over the 50 years they have lived at Kingstone, truly a special place you won't easily forget.
