Townhome vacation rentals in Hatteras Island

Would stay again. Great spot for a Hatteras Island getaway. You can see the beach from both the front and back porches, which is a little different than other places I be stayed in OBX. Also I was impressed by Vacasa. They were very communicative, checking in via text (once phone) several times during our stay to ensure we didn't have issues.

Was a great place to stay for our families get away and the other people staying were respectful really close to the beach absolutely beautiful home and the layout was amazing

The view was beautiful and it was a very SHORT walk to the beach. wonderful little neighborhood. Able to ride bikes around and nearby. Good fishing. The house was perfect for our short stay.

A simple townhouse! No clutter and easy to clean. We liked the lower entry way and the huge walk in closet so we didn’t have to carry everything up and down steps. We would rent this house again.

Great place tucked away and loved the dock to take my kayak out. Christo even generously allowed us to use their kayak and paddleboards. Nice little canal to paddle around. The house was perfect for our Moms trip. 8 ladies and all were happy with the house so that says a lot! Well equipped, clean, comfortable. Loved that we had a pool. We were only there 1 full day so didn't get a chance to use it. Also the outdoor shower was great to help keep sand out. Super close to Avon Pier and several restaurants. I would recommend Christo's home to anyone!

The location had a beautiful view of the ocean and lighthouse from many windows - including the livingroom and back deck. The outdoor shower was great and the house layout was very nice! If you have little kids, bring or rent two baby gates for the stairs. These are easy to rent from stores in the area. We were able to easily walk to the beach, and there was plenty to do in the surrounding areas on rainy days. It is a place we would stay at again!

Nice clean townhouse. Convenient to the beach, food and tackle. Plus, it's short drives to the fishing ramps. The location is excellent for those wanting to fish!

Nice place and everyone had fun. We’d stay at Vacasa properties again. The nearby beach access was closed due to a former military base contamination issue from what I found online. This left the only walking beach access through other properties. The lighthouse beach was a quick drive and beautiful, so no issues. Also lots of good restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Vacasa was responsive when contacted. In conclusion we’re happy, thanks.

Great location! Very short walk to the beach. The pool is in Avon which is a short drive, but it is a very nice big pool. Plan a day on Ocracoke, but get to the ferry early. We got in line at 10am and waited two hours. Awesome vacation in a great house!

Enjoyed our stay, home and location were great. Many local places to eat at and everything not “local” wasn’t too far away to explore. Plenty of places to sightsee and fish. Only downside was the beach directly by the house is closed, other beach areas weren’t too far away though.

The Seahorse is in a great location. It is walking distance to the beach, only 5-15 minutes to get to all stores and restaurants in the area, and if you walk onto the beach at night in the direction of no houses, you can see every single star in the sky. It is beautiful! The home itself was very updated and mostly clean. The only thing I’d say that wasn’t super clean was the comforter on the king bed but since there was a washer and dryer, that was an easy fix. The walls had some areas of hand marks and fingerprints, probably from kids. The dishwasher was a little hard to close which made me worry the first time I used it but it ended up working fair enough. I only wanted to note those things so that Vacasa could take a few of them into consideration to update/change if they’d like. Besides those few things that really weren’t a HUGE deal to us, this place was perfect! We’d most definitely stay here again.

Had a great time house could use some maintenance but I still had a great time, would come back

My husband and two kids spent one week here and really enjoyed our stay. The unit was roomy, clean, and a great price. The views were fantastic and the beach was so close we could go down and back in a matter of minutes. Thanks vacasa!

Loved our stay at the beach house - when I did reach out about a minor issue,(just to let them know) they were very responsive, quick to resolve the issue and happy to help. I appreciated the ease in communication. The location itself was so so close to the beach it was absolutely perfect for the relaxing getaway I was looking for. Going off season is honestly my favorite way to go, and I would book again with this host (and at this house) in a heartbeat. Quiet, homey and friendly. Perfection.
