Townhome vacation rentals in Dare County

Would stay again. Great spot for a Hatteras Island getaway. You can see the beach from both the front and back porches, which is a little different than other places I be stayed in OBX. Also I was impressed by Vacasa. They were very communicative, checking in via text (once phone) several times during our stay to ensure we didn't have issues.

Such a gem! The location was peaceful and beautiful. The private hot tub is a huge plus! The place is clean and well maintained. The host was friendly and accommodating. We will gladly come back!

Place was comfortable and host was extremely responsive. Plenty of space for my husband, myself, and our two kids. We didn't find ourselves in need of anything. Neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the pool and nearby beach. Laundry room was a big plus. Definitely recommend a stay here! Thanks Michelle!!

A simple townhouse! No clutter and easy to clean. We liked the lower entry way and the huge walk in closet so we didn’t have to carry everything up and down steps. We would rent this house again.

A minute walk to the beach. Spacious colorful and clean place. Highly recommend for 7 people. The pool and hot tub for the community were never crowded and so clean. The community club room and surrounding space was awesome. Loved this place!

Nice clean townhouse. Convenient to the beach, food and tackle. Plus, it's short drives to the fishing ramps. The location is excellent for those wanting to fish!

The location had a beautiful view of the ocean and lighthouse from many windows - including the livingroom and back deck. The outdoor shower was great and the house layout was very nice! If you have little kids, bring or rent two baby gates for the stairs. These are easy to rent from stores in the area. We were able to easily walk to the beach, and there was plenty to do in the surrounding areas on rainy days. It is a place we would stay at again!

Geno's places is the absolute best! Very conveniently located, always sparking clean, plus the best host around. Geno is very knowledgeable (and passionate) about everything Manteo and is always willing to give recommendations. We had such an amazing time and will definitely be back again!

I loved that this condo was walking distance to the ocean, the neighborhood has a playground for the kids as well & clean/friendly neighborhood. I wished the rental would have come with more towels than only 4. With a family, I was unfortunately doing laundry daily to have clean towels for us being we were there for 7 days.

Taramarie was extremely nice, helpful, and was an amazing host. We truly enjoyed our stay and 100000% would stay here again. We had so much fun and everything was honestly perfect. Thank you so much again for having us!!

This house exceeded expectations for our trip. House was very clean, neighborhood was quiet and had good outdoor space to walk our dogs. Walkable entrance to the beach from the house, close by to beach entrances to drive on the beach for fishing. Several good local restaurants minutes from the house. Would recommend and would stay again!

We had a great stay at Paul's place. He was communicative and place was as shown. We were right near the beach. The house came w lots of toys, kits and a beach cart to haul things over to the beach. It was a perfect place for kids w lots of amenities. My kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Egrets Walk! My husband and I were there on an extended weekend visit and we were very impressed with the home's cleanliness and tasteful coastal decor. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were so clean. We were able to catch several egrets in the marsh below our living room window. Such peaceful surroundings with plenty of activities for couples as well as families. My husband was working remotely and was able to utilize the office space. Liz was very prompt in response to any of our questions and made our check in process very easy. We will definitely return to this property in the future!

We highly recommend Dave's place! The townhome was very clean, and beds were comfortable. You can enjoy an ocean view from the patio or walk just across the street to access the beach. There was plenty of beach gear available. Dave was a wonderful host and was great with information and suggestions for the area. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was just as the pictures showed it. I have never seen a more clean place. Natallia was responsive with sending details for entry. The area was a quiet, nice community with so many things to do. The beach was accessible by walking or driving. We will definitely be back again.

“The stay at Gia’s place was wonderful. The Pelicans Nest was spotless and matched the listing. The location was ideal for exploring, and relaxing on the beach. Located centrally for a 30 min commute give or take to the 4x4 beach or Nags Head and Manteo. We were conveniently located near all stores and attractions such as Jockey Ridge State park And The Wrights Brothers Museum. But yet directly across from beach access.If you like to explore OBX this is a great location. Gia was very responsive from the beginning to the end of trip if anything was needed.Highly recommended, and a return stay is hoped for!”

We had an awesome time at Eric’s Place. Its brand new, very short walk to the beach and there’s tons to do in the area. The loud main road out back was really the only downside otherwise everything was excellent. Thank you again!

We had a fantastic day, and the property was exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. I especially liked how proactive Liz was with her recommendations for beaches that included parking information and lifeguard availability. This property allows pets, but it was extremely clean, with no signs of previous pets aside from available dog bowls. We were slightly disappointed that we could not use the pool because it was under maintenance, we were really looking forward to using it, but we understand these things happen and appreciate it being properly maintained. This location is a good halfway point if you plan to see both ends of the Outer Banks and don’t mind driving. Example: 45 minutes to Currituck Lighthouse and 1 hour 20 minutes to the Ocracoke Ferry. I would recommend this property, especially if traveling with kids.

We just had a great stay! Kitty-hawk is the perfect OBX location everything we wanted to do was about 30 minutes south or North making ima central location! Tons of good food and shops around. The townhouse was perfect and had everything we needed. The shower in the basement for after the beach was a huge bonus with kids and the washer and dryer were a life saver! Caroline was very responsive to all of my messages. We had a little issue connecting to the WiFi (I had the password to wrong) she responded so quick to clear it up! 10/10 recommend. The pool/hot tub and Rec room were a huge added bonus for the kids!!

Place was in a great location and just like the photos. Hosts were awesome and made the whole process easy and enjoyable!

The condo with the upstairs loft was clean, well decorated and comfortable for three of us. The master bedroom is beautiful with great lighting. The deck in front and back were nice to spread out. The back deck overlooking the bay was so peaceful, as was the neighborhood. The owner was so helpful, responsive and very plentiful with recommendations. I’d recommend to others.
