Melissa is a great host with an adorable studio!! The place was clean and peaceful. We loved how close it was to the water and how easy it was to zip up and down Hwy 12 from it. Melissa was easy to reach out to, super kind, and set us up for a perfect weekend! We would rent again if we come back to the area :)

What a neat little spot! The space was perfect for our family of three. Close to beaches, restaurants, shops, and the ferry. Gracie, her place, and her art gallery next door encapsulate what makes the Outer Banks so welcoming and charming very well. Will 100% be back in the future.

Corinne and Mike are such gracious hosts! Their Endless Summer Suite was a joy to stay at! It felt like the perfect home away from home. I hope to have the opportunity to visit OBX again. I'd gladly stay at Corrine and Mike's! Thank you both!!!

Heba’s place is an excellent listing with a great location on Hwy 12 in Frisco. It offers just about every amenity needed for a Hatteras Island visit. Even though my wife and I visited in the winter, we still felt there was much to do outside during our visit. The kitchen was great. The bathroom was clean with a solid shower. The bed was very comfy for those who like a more firm bed. I loved the electric heater in the living room and the TVs in both the living room and the bedroom were a bonus. Ample amounts of parking available and quite private, even though you are a few feet away from other dwellings. There is a great restaurant across the street within walking distance and a gas station only a minute away. 10 minute drive to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, or the Hatteras Ferry and less than 5 minute drive to Frisco Beach. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if this listing is available in the future.

We came across the Mermaid Cottage last minute on a quick getaway and it was the perfect spot to stay for us! Very eclectically decorated and a few steps away from the ocean 🌊. Also has a very nice, private porch with nice furniture for lounging. Jenni was an excellent and responsive host, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and cozy place when visiting Avon, NC.

We had a fantastic stay at Wes and Rhonda's place. All the reviews describing how wonderful they are are true! You definitely feel like you are in an authentic neighborhood(!) which is part of the charm...this is no impersonal corporate rental...it's really their house, their pottery studio (the gallery is a short walk/drive away), their neighborhood. The bed was super comfortable, the room was very cozy, kitchen area had all the utensils, beautiful handmade plates and mugs. Rhonda's art work was covering all the walls, even bathroom that had a comfortable shower. We slept well, walked down to the Sounds from the house for sunset view, listened to the birds in the morning.

This was the second time I stayed here. It was great just like the first time. This time around I brought my Mom along from Germany. It was again a most lovely place and we felt very comfortable and had a great time on the outer banks. Noreen's place was a perfect starting point for that! I would love to come again.

The exterior of the triplex features a spacious parking area beneath the structure, accommodating multiple vehicles. A set of wooden stairs leads to a private entrance. The surrounding landscape includes grassy areas and natural greenery, contributing to a sense of privacy.

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

We had a fabulous stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The property is beautifully maintained and in a perfect location for beaches and the multitude of restaurants that are nearby. John was immediately available when contacted and was very helpful. We recommend this property without any hesitation.

Tranquil Peaceful and Private

Wes and Rhonda's Airbnb was a wonderful retreat tucked away in a local neighborhood. We try to make an annual trip to the area in this was our favorite place to stay of our all trips to Hatteras Island. The unit has a lovely bedroom and kitchenette, decorated with Rhonda's original artwork. There is a washer and dryer and a spacious bathroom, which is just what we needed after a long day at the beach. The porch looks out onto a oak tree with gorgeous Spanish moss hanging from the branches. We even got a few visits from our hosts adorable cats! Wes was very friendly and commutative, he proactively texted to check in and provide instructions. If you stay at this lovely spot, we highly recommend stopping by Red Drum Pottery to grab some of Rhonda's pottery and artwork to bring some memories back home with you!

This airbnb on the sound in the Outer Banks was a perfect peaceful retreat. Stunning sunsets, easy access to Avon and Hatteras, and opportunities for windsurfing made our stay unforgettable. The high-quality, professionally cleaned linens and cozy decor added a touch of luxury. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Stay at Bonnie’s was fantastic! Everything was set. She was also super friendly. If you’re looking for a place for a short trip to OBX, I recommend staying at Bonnie’s. If you’re lucky, you may even come across Rowan the Doggo 😄

The condo we previously booked had to cancel last minute. Thankfully Christine allowed us to book with only a few hours notice. We have been coming to Hatteras for years, but this was the first time we came without our kids for our Anniversary. The location was perfect. Christine was very friendly, and responded immediately when I reached out to her. The condo is very clean and has a nice view of the sound. We had a great Anniversary weekend and we are so thankful we were able to have a place to stay with the short notice. I highly recommend!

This was a great stay for a peaceful weekend! The view of the sound is incredible with beautiful sunsets, the house had everything we needed, the owners were very responsive, and it was within walking distance to both the sound and the beach while also being close to some great restaurants. Exceeded my expectations!

We were very pleased with Watermens retreat, the house was very nice and was exactly as described.
