We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

We had a wonderful time in this great house! The house was big with everything you could ask for. Our daughter was getting married at Rock Hill farm which is only 3.5 miles away and the house provided us a quiet, peaceful place to come home to after a busy day and evening. There were sheep grazing beside the house! We didn’t get a chance to tryout the spa and pool, but maybe next time. We highly recommend!!!

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

We needed a place to hold us comfortably for an anniversary trip, and Jeff’s place sure delivered! He was quit to communicate with us about questions after booking and stayed in touch up to checking in to be sure we were on the same page. We even had a minor issue on a Friday evening and he was very quick to communicate so that our trip could stay on track! Home was clean and had everything we needed to make our weekend trip no stress. Thanks Jeff and team!

The place was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. The pool was still cold but the kids loved that it was open already and my wife and I appreciated the hot tub after a long day of traveling. The sound of the highway is noticeable, but after a day you get used to it. The yard was private and sat back away from the road which was nice for the kids to play in. If we find ourselves in Virginia we would stay here again.

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Place was lovely and exactly as listed. Spacious , great views, clean and lots of DVDs and board games. Highly recommend staying here!

We booked this Airbnb for our family and pups to stay at during our wedding weekend in Charlottesville. Miranda was super accommodating and responsive. Amazing stay!

perched atop the hill, this house has a perfect view of the valley below. Just sitting down in the deck with coffee for 30 mins will melt away your stress! Inside was a very well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, linens and pillows for 13 of us. Lot of non-screen entertainment for the kids was a huge plus! We are already planning our trip back here.

House was very nice, lots of nice little touches. Easy directions on everything. Very communicative. Not in their control or their fault but it was a bit hard to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit with the smell of manure, so just FYI depending on the wind!

Our kids had such a wonderful time! Between the game room, the hot tub, the fire pit and the huge field, they always had something to do. Our favorite part was the sunrise view from the bedrooms. Stunning!

The house is spacious, clean, bright and well located (5 min drive to the downtown mall, 20 mins from wineries). It's perfect for a group of friends or a family visiting Charlottesville. We enjoyed our stay, and loved the recs and other thoughtful touches provided by Hunter and Sarah.

The house is beautiful and it was very clean. The surrounding views are great and if it was warmer out we would have really enjoyed sitting out on the back porch area. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! The place was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Juan went above and beyond, always responsive and helpful with any questions I had about the home or the area. If you’re lucky enough to find this place available, don’t hesitate—book it! Nicole’s place was absolutely perfect for our girls’ getaway! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and provided the perfect balance of comfort and seclusion. We loved how private and peaceful it felt—such a great escape from the hustle and bustle. The fire pit was amazing for cozy evenings, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking. There’s a Walmart at the bottom of the mountain if you need anything, which was super convenient. A heads-up: if you’re planning to leave on a Sunday, the nearby landfills are closed, so you’ll need to take your trash further along your route home. The drive up the mountain is stunning, but definitely requires an AWD/4WD vehicle to make it up stress-free. Nicole was so responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to escape and enjoy a relaxing, secluded retreat! We found the cream of the crop of Charlottesville Airbnbs right here! The house is awesome! So spacious with lots of light, beautiful flooring, comfortable furniture and the best beds for a good night’s sleep, it was perfect for our family group of sisters.We loved the modern kitchen which is so well stocked and equipped! The huge shower in the master bedroom was a real hit! All enjoyed the hot water, fluffy towels and luxurious bedding and of course the pristine cleanliness of the entire house. It was a lot of fun to barbecue and enjoy the outdoor ambiance too! Rachel was immediately responsive to my texts and questions. She treated us with true kindness and Southern hospitality! With this great host, great house and superb location in Charlottesville, I truly lucked out and picked a winner that provided the settting for memories for a lifetime!! Thank you, Rachel! We had a great stay at the Critzer House. It was just as described and perfect for our two families of four. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out together or retreat to separate spaces for some quiet time. The sunroom was great for starting the day with coffee and finishing with adult beverages. The location was ideal...30 minutes or less to incredible hikes, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Easy walk to Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner after a long day exploring the beautiful surrounding area.

Overall was a great location to anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors since the National Forest was nearby with gorgeous views! Or even enjoy all that the resort area offered! House was clean and the host was always made sure to get back to us about any questions that may have come up. Our kids loved that there was a game area as well that they could watch tv or game without having to give up the TV for the adults to watch TV.

We loved the house and the area!! It was so quiet and peaceful. We sat on the porch for hours just staring at the view! Great hiking trails nearby!

It’s a very cute house, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no cell service but there is WiFi so it all worked out great! It’s the woods so there are some bugs inside but nothing too bad. It’s a great place, easy to get to as well. I’d definitely stay here again!
