Monthly Rentals in Harkers Island

We love everything about the Yates Cottage. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful view soothed my soul — so much so, that we already have plans to return soon! I was up at first light each morning to greet the sunrise, and then saw the sunset at days’ end. A kingfisher and great blue heron kept me company each morning to see the birds start to take flight. Don’t forget to take your binoculars — the Cape Lookout Lighthouse is directly across the Sound and you can see pods of dolphin and pelicans fishing. If you are an avid birder, as I am, the Tundra swans are early this year, and can be seen nearby in Davis. Nothing could be finer than our visit here — we are blessed to have found the Cottage.

This was my families second visit to this location. It will never get old. Dolphins and pelicans off the pier, and so much to do near by. Time spent at the house has wonderful views and plenty to do. The hosts have excellent communication and take wonderful care of the property.

this house was great for a 3 generation get away. it had everything we needed and everything was easy to find.

We’re very satisfied with our accommodation & pleasantly surprise with the complimentary wine & snacks. Was able to access the tv & WiFi without any issue. We certainly would come back & recommend this place. Thank you for making us feel comfortable & we enjoyed our visit of Beaufort NC! 😇👍
