House vacation rentals in Harkers Island

Claudia was very friendly and responsive. Our place was clean, nice decor, comfortable seating and bedding, easy and walkable distance to beach and local restaurants and shops, to name just a few. We enjoyed our mini “resort” like vacay!

This was the perfect spot for our two families! The house was very clean, there was plenty of pantry space (huge amenity for us!), room for everyone to spend time together and apart. The kids loved playing in the game room too. Communication was on point! Deanna really thought of everything. Thank you!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Jeff and Julie's place for the weekend, checking in on Friday and enjoying two delightful nights before our Sunday morning checkout. The home was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and then some! Its proximity to the beach was fantastic—just a short walk away. We particularly loved the amazing backyard, which was perfect for our four-legged friend to explore and play. Additionally, many local shops were conveniently close to the house. Thank you, Jeff and Julie, for being such gracious hosts and making our stay so enjoyable!

The Alex Moore house is just lovely. We had an excellent visit in Swansboro and Mike’s home was a highlight! Our family of five stayed here while visiting for a wedding. We had so much room! The kitchen was amazing and our kids made use of the media room and pool. The home is exquisite… beautifully furnished, sparkling clean, and stocked like home. We especially loved the location. Just walk a few blocks and you’ll find restaurants on the water’s edge, boutique shops, and many historic homes that line the neighborhood. We so appreciated Mike’s attention to detail which made this stay just perfect. Thank you again for hosting us and for making our first trip to Swansboro one for the books!

This was our second year coming here and it was just as wonderful as it was the last time. Stephanie is a phenomenal hostess and we love everything about the house and the area. It was tough to leave because we had so much fun but we will definitely be back!

Amazing home in a beautiful community. Short distance from the Beaufort Water Front. Be sure to rent the golf cart. It makes getting around the island easy and enjoyable. Don’t forget to watch for the horses in the evenings.

This is an awesome beach house for multiple families. We had plenty of room. The walk to the beach is on a short boardwalk then steps to the ocean. The multiple porches offered a great place to sit with morning coffee and watch the waves. There are tons of kid's toys and beach toys as well as chairs, etc. You really do not need to bring a thing to enjoy a fun time with kids on the beach. The kitchen, also, is very well stocked with everything you need to cook...even down to spices in the cabinet. This was a lovely place to stay. We all said we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Tim, for providing everything we needed for an awesome three nights at Emerald Isle!

Lovely house and location for multi-generation family gathering. Plenty of space to spread out. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Nice dining space for large family. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon.

Perfect location in a cute community. Easy walk right out to the beach, got to see gorgeous sunsets daily from one of many decks, and ample space on the interior to not feel like we were on top of each other. Justin is also one of the most responsive hosts, which we were so appreciative of.

We loved staying with Wendy for a friends trip to the coast. The place had lots of comfortable outdoor seating and was exactly as described in a very convenient location.

All of our family loved the house and definitely would stay there again. Nice place, all the extras made our vacation easier: like the kid's plates, utensils and cups; extra pool toys; plenty of towels; plenty of space in all the rooms, etc; and the best golf cart in the neighborhood!! The name of the place certainly describes the vibe there, relaxing and plenty of entertainment for all.

This was our second stay at Gabriela’s place. We visit family in the Havelock/Newport area and this is the ideal location for us. We travel with our 2 dogs and a fenced yard is a necessity. Gabriela’s place has a very large, safe yard. Perfect for us!

This was our second stay at the King Farm, and it will definitely not be our last stay in this grand old farmhouse! I gushed in my first review of the property. Mike and Sybil are wonderful hosts, and the house is very comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed for a fantastic long weekend!

We loved staying at Emily’s place! Our whole extended family was comfortable & we especially loved the kid room. The location can’t be beat!

Yve’s place was wonderful. It was peaceful and perfect for our group. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. They loved running around off leash for a few days. Would highly recommend Yve’s listing to anyone looking for a place around Havelock or Newport.

This house is beautiful!! I stayed by myself for my birthday trip and it was 100% worth it. Amazing views, and honestly after staying here I would consider moving to morehead! I love the area, everything is so close, and the beach is right there!! I went to the aquarium and a couple of stores around there. Also went to the oyster bar for oysters of course, my favorite!! All around good trip, I will say the road to get to the house is FULL of potholes, I thought I was in the wrong place at first. Just keep following the road and it’s right there, just beware of the invisible speed bumps haha. Also the shower in the hallway the door doesn’t stay shut so just a heads up, it kept bothering me so I just used the other shower.. but Thankyou so much for letting me stay, you will proably be seeing me again this year!!

The house was beautiful and everything was perfect. Isaac was very responsive and helpful. Having access to the backyard to take our dogs out was so convenient. We would absolutely stay here again!

The cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Wade puts so much thought into the space and what you may need. It had a great little yard for our kids to play in without worrying about traffic, comfortable beds, and everything listed is accurate plus more. The beach is just right across the road and not a bad walk at all. Thank you Wade!

The home was comfortable and inviting with a great view of the Sound and only a block from the beach. It was exactly what we needed for a short getaway and some R&R.
