Welcome Inn - Ward (WIW) is a non-smoking residence located in the middle of town and yet convenient to the freeway. WIW is the perfect place to stay when traveling for business or leisure. We welcome long stays, 30 days plus, and short vacation stays (1-20 days). Your family will be close to everything . When you stay at a B-n-B, you're acquiring a luxury not found in a hotel. Whethor you need a few months or just a weekend, we Welcome hosting your stay needs.
The space
There are 3 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 full bed), a media room (with a love seat that converts into a pull- out full-size bed), Living room with a queen sized hide-a-bed and Sealy perfect sleeper mattress.
There are two bathrooms, a dining area, fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, flatware, and dishes, as well as a laundry room that you may have complete use of during your stay.
In the media room you will find games, puzzles, books and more for you to enjoy during your stay. You will find items for just about any age.
Are you in need of a pack 'n play, high chair, or any other baby needs, let me know. These can be available for an additional fee.
You will also find a fully fenced back yard with patio table and chairs as well as a charcoal grill. You can enjoy your dinner out back on those nice nights if you wish.
Guest access
Upon completing your reservation, please message me the last 4 digits of your telephone number as this will be the code you use to enter the front door as well as the code you will use to arm and disarm the alarm. The alarm system is located in the laundry room. Upon your arrival, the alarm will be disarmed. This is done so that you do not have to rush to find it the first time in the home. The remainder of your stay, will be your responsibility to arm and disarm the alarm. There is a 1 minute leave and enter gace period.
There are two areas that are OFF LIMITS to renters and their guests. The first is one closet in the Main bathroom in the Main Bedroom. It remains locked with a security lock on the door. Again, this closet is off limits to ALL tenants and guests during your stay. The second area is the garage. It can be accessed through the laundry room. Both of these areas are off limits to tenants and their guests. The closet is locked. The garage door is not locked so that in an emergency it can be opened to exit the home. Any attempts to enter either area will sound the alarms and Police may arrive. I have “do not enter” warning signs on both of these doors. (These two areas do not apply to those who book for a minimum of 28 days as you will have full access to the entire home and garage).
Please note, on the date of your checkout I request that you message me when you are leaving. I have to ask guest to be out by their scheduled time to give my cleaners time to clean before the next guest checks in. I do charge a late fee of $50 for every ten minutes after checkout time unless I am contacted ahead of time for permission to check out later. When I can allow a later checkout time, I will update your stay with your new checkout time. After that update is applied the same late fee rule goes into affect - $50 for ever ten minutes you are late checking out.
Other things to note
All bookings are approved via request. I n your request message, please state you have read, understand, and agree to all of the rules of the home. If you have questions about any of the rules, please ask during this process.
We take extra care and caution to provide a clean and safe environment for ALL of our guest. We are a normal family just like you, not a huge corporation with millions of dollars. Because of this, we have 2 rules we ask everyone to abide by. Failure to abide to these rules will have you vacated from the home with no refund. The 2 rules are:
1) There is no smoking (cigarettes or pot or any other smokable substance) allowed in the home OR on the premises. There is also no vaping or illegal drugs/substances allowed in the home or on the premises. Please note, premises includes the yard, driveway, and back patio. Even if a person smokes outside, the tar residue comes back into the home and leaves the house and furniture smelling of tobacco and smoke. This is very hard to clean and cost extra. If you are found to be smoking anywhere on the property, you will be evicted without refund. You could also incur an extra cleaning charge of $1500 for removal of smoke and tar residue and odors.
2) The off limits areas - Garage and Closet in Main Bathroom (aka Master Bathroom). These two areas are off limits. Unless arrangements are made prior to your stay, they are not to be accessed (or entered). The only reason the garage should be entered would be in the event of a fire for safe exit. I have seen people abuse this rule and it is just as enforced as the other two for safety reasons. (Please note, if you are a long stay rental, you will have 100% use of the home. including the closet and garage).
The next is Highly Highly suggested. We ensure our floors are clean...white Sox clean. This keeps our beds and furniture clean as well. in order to ensure you have clean socks and furniture while staying in Welcome Inn, we highly suggest removing your shoes and utilizing the shoe rack inside the door. Shoes carry in dirt and germs. Leaving them at the door keeps your environment cleaner while enjoying your stay.
