Family-friendly vacation rentals in Arkansas

Wow, this is THE place! I know you’re reading all the reviews and you can read how wonderful this place is but now I can tell you firsthand. You don’t need to look any further. This is the place you want to rent. It’s phenomenal! It’s located up a windy road in the piney woods and you feel like you’re all alone out there. But you’re not far from anything. Beautiful views. Great hot tub. Hot Springs is only 20 minutes away and not a bad drive at all. There are restaurants all around. The home is absolutely perfect, clean as heck, has everything you need, super comfortable. Terri will meet you and lead you up there the first time, and she is a jewel! She is so helpful and showed us everything we needed to know and was wonderful! We have never had such a welcome reception. If ever we go back to the Hot Springs Village area, we will rent this place again without hesitation.

We loved our stay and are already talking about making plans to come back! The property was beautiful, the trails where great and everything promised was there. It was so peaceful and private.

Beautiful, quiet cabin! Great place to “unplug” and “recharge”. The cabin was very clean and stocked appropriately for a weekend stay. The personalized welcome sign was also a nice touch! The hostess was very responsive to all of my inquiries and was willing to accommodate rescheduling, if needed, when winter weather was forecasted. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice, quiet getaway.

Amazing home! I completely fell in love with this home. The location was perfect. Close enough to everything but still private. The house was very clean, linens and towels smelled so good. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were very fluffy. That’s important to me! She left thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy. I really can’t say enough about how much we I loved this house. Would highly recommend.

The log cabin canine retreat was perfect! It was beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing! Our host, Mr. Davis was very responsive when messaged and made sure we were set with what we needed! Would definitely be booking another stay! :)

This cabin was such a great place to stay for Valentine’s Day!! We had the best time. This was the cutest cabin in such a peaceful and private location. Very close to everything we wanted to do! The host was responsive and friendly. The only thing that did not match the pictures on Air BnB was the “sea” theme that was present (such as a giant marlin on wall, fish net in corner of house, etc). Overall, would recommend this Air BnB!!!

we surprised our younger kids ages 9 and 10 as well as our older daughter and her husband with this trip for Christmas. we rented the larger cabin for 5 nights and in addition, rented the smaller rock cabin for the last 3 nights of our stay for our daughter and son in law. The two cabins are close together but the rock cabin is tucked back near the bluff and that whole cabin feels very private. The larger cabin that we stayed in with our younger two kids had curtains up by the hot tub and that provided good privacy in that particular area. I especially loved the charm of the smaller rock cabin and we plan to return to rent that one in the future...it is so cozy and the outdoor kitchen has a great set up! As for the land itself, it is beautiful and the creek which is more like a river, is just steps away from the cabins! we fished and collected beautiful rocks! The weather was cold but everything was still perfect! Wade was the best host we've ever had and we have had many!!!

Great host and thankful for them to share this beautiful place with everyone. The neighboring furry friends were a treat. The place was cozy and inviting with fantastic views. A great way to get away and unwind with plenty of privacy.

We stayed at Joy and Richard's place on our way back from Texas Feb 20-21 2025. This was for us a repeat visit and as it was the first time everything was perfect. Beautifully restored older home outfitted with all the items that make for a great stay. Everything was squeaky clean, very comfortable bed, breakfast items, plenty of clean linens. Very difficult to improve on anything because it is all top notch. Would definitely repeat if the opportunity arises. Jim and Betsy

My husband, beagle, and I absolutely loved Dana’s guest house! Beautiful surroundings with the lake and being up on the impressive cliffs with nice windows and balconies. Dana was very nice and my husband and I enjoyed getting to know her, she made us feel very welcome, just like family. We already can’t wait to come back!

Was easy to find, exactly as described and Derek was very responsive to communication.

We were very happy with Bryan's place. Very clean and no issues! Easy to find and easy check in. House had plenty of room and in a great neighborhood. We will rent this again someday!

We had an amazing weekend getaway! Emily was a great host and gave us a ton of recommendations. It was cold (20 deg) but we were still able to do some of the walks and explore the area. The house is fantastic! stayed warm in the cold weather, conviently located to Mountain View but also close to the road to get further north. We brought our dog and she had the best time, plenty of space and smells. The views are amazing, highly recommend, can't wait to go back!

Our group of 8 was very comfortable and enjoyed the pool and private back yard. We enjoyed cooking some meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our food. Excellent way to bring our family together from several states!

Wonderful area, quiet, and beautiful view — we saw deer in the front yard a couple times! The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable!

Jessica was an awesome host - responding rapidly to accommodate my family after Military orders changed last minute and our entire family could come together. And the house is a gem! The kitchen is a chef’s dream with double ovens, griddle and 6 burner Thermador professional stove. It was perfect for preparing and enjoying our Thanksgiving meal. The 80” TV/family room for movies and football was just what we wanted. . Great lake-view from a the private corner of the cove. We did not use the hot tub or pool area, but the back deck and grill was perfect for steaks and cocktails. Can’t recommend the place enough for large groups looking to eat, socialize and enjoy Hot Springs NP and Lake Hamilton. It is priced a bit over other spots in the area, but the quality of the home and extra space is more than worth the upgrade to treat your friends and family well. We will be back.

Our family of 7 fit comfortably in Christa's beautiful condo. We enjoyed all the amenities and loved the location. We were close to downtown Hot Springs and were able to see everything on our vacation list. The kids especially loved the pool and playing pickleball in the evenings. Wonderful family memories were made!

Such a great stay at the Chicken Coop! Walkable to downtown, Airship coffee, and trails to Crystal Bridges. On top of the generous basics (hand soap, plenty of towels, lots of plug ins) and being A+ clean, the owners included many thoughtful extras (water, snacks, coffee). We loved the ping pong table too! We really appreciated the location/privacy, easy communication with hosts, and convenience.

Breathtaking views and charming house. Has everything we need in the kitchen and bathrooms. highly recommend. Host is prompt in communicating.

We stayed in the Airbnb for a period of 5 weeks while our home was being renovated. It was such a beautiful house with a gorgeous view of Lake Dardanelle! It snowed almost a foot while we were there and it was so beautiful. Mike and Karin were such great hosts!

So Anedodi, is the best bang for the buck. I love how they have left the extras that other guest "donate" we left some beautiful florals and and other dish ware. It feels just like going to the family cabin. And that is the BIGGEST Bath tub i have ever seen in my life everyone's first response was how did they get it in here, i think they built the house around it..lol Everything is really great and when you're stressed just go have a drink on the porch and watch the sunset did wonders for my soul.. thank you so much Hilary for sharing your piece of heaven.. the Martin-Teager's although i didn't get a hyphen even on face book so scratch that Thank You, The Martin's ...lol
