Other things to note
Our Home: This property is our cherished home, not a luxury hotel. It's perfect for mature adults and families seeking a peaceful getaway. We encourage you to unplug and enjoy the simple pleasures of the home and the surrounding nature.
Security: For your safety and security, exterior security cameras are located on the property.
Summer: Please note that the home does not have air conditioning. Vermont evenings are typically cool, and we provide several fans along with large windows throughout the house to let in the fresh mountain breeze and keep the home comfortable.
Wildlife: The cabin is in a remote area where wildlife is present. You may encounter bears, deer, moose, bobcats, mice, and insects. Please be mindful of this when booking.
Water: The water is sourced from a private drilled well.
Remote Location: With peace and solitude comes… peace and solitude. The nearest hospital, major grocery store, and pharmacy are about a 15-20 minute drive away. Smaller general stores and farm stands are closer for basic necessities.
Weather & Cancellations: Weather events are unpredictable. As they are out of our control, we do not offer refunds or reservation changes due to weather. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip.
