It's a beautiful, private place! We had a peaceful and fun weekend. Patricia was a great host.

Will definitely have family stay here again. Just what everyone needed. Comfy, warm, homey and the 2 general stores down the road were great with anything we needed. The dog also was so relaxed she ate well which never usually happens! Neal was responsive even late at night when needed and came early in the a.m. to plow the driveway after a typical Vt. snowstorm.

The house was exactly as listed. Had everything we needed. Very peaceful location, exactly what we were looking for. Chris let us know he was available if we needed anything or had any questions. Would definitely rent again if we re-visit the area.

Ryan was an excellent host. We stayed in a spacious house that was perfect for accommodating our large group. The location is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy outdoor activities in Vermont, with plenty of nature and peaceful surroundings. Ryan communicated clearly throughout our stay, providing detailed instructions and ensuring we had everything we needed. The house itself was very large, offering many beds, which was great for our group. It’s also situated in a quiet area, but still close to a general store that had pretty much anything we could need. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with ample space and comfort.

Had a great stay at Darren’s place. We enjoyed the peace and quiet both inside and outside and spent a few days hiking and exploring with our dog. Close to hill farmstead brewery, lake willoughby, and impressed by the pizza place (Roberto’s) in Barton too. Will definitely be back!

Very cute old farmhouse with just the right amount of upgrades to make it comfortable without losing charm. Good location close to East Burke. It snowed for our Thanksgiving stay making the place super cozy (but we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace). Bathrooms are huge!

The house is very cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. We truly enjoyed our time and loved all the details Christie added to her home, and all the space we had to spread out. We came to celebrate a birthday and an early Christmas as a family, the Christmas tree and lights were a wonderful surprise! Christie is very accommodating and there to answer any questions as needed. Overall, our group and our pups loved our stay and are planning to come back when there’s no snow and we can explore the beautiful property some more.

The cottage was beautiful located right on the lake. We really enjoyed the rustic setting and interiors of the cottage. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were more than sufficient for group of 10 guests. Minot provided excellent suggestions on near by trails and coffee shops. We went in fall to see colours so it was a bit cold outside, summer would be gorgeous with lake access. We will surely return if we are in the area.

Maxwell’s house was perfect for our stay. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect to Jay Peak. Maxwell returned my questions very promptly. I hope to rent it again. Colleen Handley

Room for a large family with 4 bedrooms, inviting living room with very warm gas fireplace! very close to jay peak, less than 10 min drive, so excellent for ski vacation. Kitchen very well equipped. Homeowner very responsive by text. We enjoyed the board games the host has in the house, and the snowshoe trails just up the hill from the home! I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a ski vacation at Jay...and the note in the listing about snowtires/AWD is important...we saw several cars have trouble with the hills in the area when snow is afoot!

Amazing place! Exactly what we needed for a cozy weekend away. We were a group of 8 and all fit very comfortably. Special mention for the extremely comfortable couches in the living room.

I worked for the airlines for thirty years and my husband and I stayed in many places around the world and this property was the best we’ve ever seen. We live on the beach and would eventually like to use our home as an airbnb and we would love to make it as perfect as this place. We came up for a family funeral but took advantage of the hiking in the area( very close) and would love to come up with friends to ski this winter. Jay Peak area is real Vermont with the gorgeous scenery and friendly people. Would highly recommend

Loved this place! So convenient to the mountain and yet comfortable and quiet. Well stocked kitchen that felt brand new. Super comfy beds. More tvs than you could need. And plenty of delicious dining options right down the hill. Once parked we didn't use it cars the entire time.... And our dogs enjoyed walking in the woods around the units. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful condo. It is well appointed and tastefully decorated. The setting is lovely and well situated. I thorough enjoyed my stay.

We loved Vermont and our stay. Hardwick was a lovely town and we enjoyed getting breakfast and coffee at Front Seat every morning (per Ann’s suggestion). The locals were so kind! Ann checked on us to make sure we were warm enough and even left us some apple cider to enjoy! She had plenty of recommendations for us. We got to enjoy the fall colors of Vermont, and are already talking about our next trip back!

Beautiful, comfortable condo that felt like home. Its well equipped kitchen and bathrooms were perfect for a large group. Close to local deli, bakery and coffee shop. Had a great time. Would highly recommend!

A very comfortable secluded house. Kitchen easy to navigate. Close to local stores, a short drive to larger stores. Close to Sentinal Rock parks, a beautiful place for scenery, perfect for walking dogs. Home will easily sleep 6, but could use additional comfortable seating in the TV area. Beds were comfortable and had extra blankets if needed. Fans and AC unit available if needed. The laundry area was clean and had up to date appliances. Instructions are well thought out and written. It was also obvious that if you had a problem, the owners could be quickly and easily contacted.

Perfect little place to stay for our weekend riding at Kingdom Trails! It was great to keep our bikes in the garage out of the frost and rain. Thanks Loreta!

My husband, doggie, and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Terrilyn’s cottage in Burke. The countryside surrounding the cabin was even prettier than the photos. I loved snowshoeing through the woods on the property and cooking and relaxing in the cozy cabin. My dog loved being free to run around and explore. Highly recommend.

Just stunning! We had a great time! Lots of space for our son to play outside, beautiful running on the surrounding dirt roads and plenty of fun stuff to do at Jay Peak! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this beautiful house! The place is even prettier and larger than the pictures. I found communication with the hosts to be super easy, instructions for check in were very clear, and the place was in great condition. Beyond that, the view, especially with the snow as we experienced it, was incredible. The beds were large & comfortable and there was ample space for a large group at the table & living room. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for cooking as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Rachel is a wonderful host, I felt at home, she is very respectful of my space there and responsive to any concerns. A lovely stream runs along the property making it even more inviting. I would love to stay again!
