We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London.
Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us.
The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.

The space
Bedrooms:
Master Bedroom with a 1,6 x 2m bed and ensuite bathroom, with fitted wardrobe.
Bedroom with either two 0,9 x 2m beds or with one 1,8 x 2m bed, with fitted wardrobe.
Bathrooms:
Modern style bathrooms with walk-in shower.
Living Room:
Amazing sea and mountain views to distract you away from the 50 inch Smart TV.
Kitchen:
Fully fitted kitchen, including coffee machine, kettle, sandwich press and hand blender.
Internet:
Wifi available throughout the House.
Laundry Room:
12kg washing machine.
Upstairs:
Two beds 0,9 x 2m in an open plan area with two working stations.

Garden with seasonal fruits and aromatic herbs.

When reservations are for two people, we only prepare the room which can either have one or two beds, unless otherwise agreed before the check-in date.

We selected this plot of land to build our house due to the amazing views and close proximity to the only natural sand beach in Pico Island.
You can easily walk to the restaurant, groceries store and to the bread store.
If you wish to take the car there is plenty to see and do in the vicinity, and we would recommend riding horses, enjoying one of the many natural seawater pools or walking in the natural park.
For the more adventurous, a trek up Pico mountain or a scuba dive will surely hit the mark.

We have had the luck of travelling and working in different countries around the world, which allows us to appreciate different mindsets and cultures. We like diving and fell in love with the Azores, when first visiting in 2006, since nothing beats the tranquillity of the Ocean, the black and green of those volcanic islands, and it's people, always welcoming. Since then, we've had the luck of visiting all the 9 islands, and in 2017 started building "Canto do Nemo", which was completed in 2018.
