Guesthouse vacation rentals in Guanajuato

Beautiful oasis in the hills above San Miguel. The windows in the casita let you see the blue sky all day and warm the place with the sun so the floor still feels warm at night! We had a wonderful time here for a month. The wifi is strong, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped and anything else we needed we could just ask and Rosa was very helpful. SMA is full of very friendly people and so much to do! I fell the third day (walk slow and be VERY careful!) so we had to take uber but they were always easy to get and not too expensive. We loved Cinne Bacco, Cafe Rama, and enjoyed the walking tour that starts at the cathedral at 9:45am. Loved it here! Highly recommend!

It's an amazing place to disconnect, rest, and be at peace. Located in a very quiet area but a few minutes' walk from the Cathedral and many points of interest. This beautiful stay reflects the care and attention that Lydia puts into every detail. It has all the comforts and needs for either short, medium or long term. A spotless place. Special mention to Lydia as a Host, she is a super attentive person, very nice and a personality that gives you peace and tranquility upon arrival. He was always on the lookout, gave us incredible recommendations, and we had a very pleasant and entertaining conversation when we arrived. I would return without hesitation to this, my favorite place to stay in S.M.A. Thank you for everything Lydia! See you soon. =D

i liked the location, very kind people and always attentive to what we could need

We stayed at Steve and Linda's casita in San Miguel for 15 days over the Christmas/New Years holiday. They were the perfect hosts! It was beautiful and clean and well appointed for our visit. I would not hesitate to book their airbnb again for our next stay.

They were so attentive and sweet! I would come back and stay here. The steps were definitely steep, but if you don't climb more than 100 steps... then you really didn't go to Guanajuato.

Claudia's place is fantastic. I love that it is very "Guanajuatense" (of the area) with it's little staircase up to the terrace, cozy bathroom, I love the fireplace, the tile floors, and I was working there and used the little nook up the stairs for my computer work - it was perfect! I usually walked into town, about a 20 minute walk to town and if you want to come back up there is about 5 minutes of either a steep staircase climb, or 5 minute steep hill by the house. Or the bus is 7 pesos to/from center, or a taxi is about 70-80 pesos. I will definitely be back, this is a great find and Claudia is an amazing host!

I recommend it if you like to spend it in the lion center

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The property is so peaceful and well kept and the fact that it's an artist residence made it feel much more special. Carla was very attentive when we checked in, and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Milo the house dog was also so friendly! The bedrooms were comfy, the bathrooms nice and spacious, and the kitchen and living area were cozy and well stocked. The location was perfect - conveniently located close to Tequisquiapan town center and a short drive to all the best wineries of the region. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful, serene escape in the Queretaro countryside.

Antonio is a very attentive and pleasant host. The cottage had everything to have a relaxed and peaceful stay. The view from the bedroom is amazing and the place is perfect for hiking and exploring the ruins of Las Minas. 100% recommended!
