Lovely lodge, nice and cosy with the heating on as it was chilly in March when we arrived. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kitchen had everything we needed. Steve was very helpful, meeting us on the driveway when we arrived, telling us where to park.

Lovely, attentive host. The lodge is a short walk away from the local shop and pub which has a restaurant inside and music on the weekend. Plenty to do in the area. Perfect for a weekend away.

The Gig Cottage is a lovely place for a break or to explore the area - Liz gave us heaps of ideas for things to do but it was also lovely staying home in the evenings and enjoying the fire. Liz met us as we arrived and had a lovely, personal message for us along with fresh scones, jam and cream - so welcome after a long drive. The internet was excellent and fast which was great!

very friendly and helpful, very nice location, hot tub was very clean and nice to use already set up and ready to be used if wanted. Pippa was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and very helpful if needed anything, the poolside lodges we stayed in was very clean and had everything you'd need in it. we are looking at going back in summer when swimming pool is open. only downside was the busy main road getting in and out of complex can be bit tricky other than that was lovely stay and would recommend the place.

Tom was really helpful and got in contact first with us at booking. He was proactive in communicating with us regarding check in and directions. The place was beautiful, I'd love to see it in the summer (we stayed in October though and the leaves were beautiful colours!) The 4 Horseshoes is a great pub/restaurant and easily walkable. You do need a car though to get about! We wanted peaceful and it certainly was! Everything driveable although my satnav did like to drive through lots of tiny villages...in the dark...and I used to live nearby in Yaxley so knew many of the places but if you're unaware of the area, I can imagjne it would be easy to get lost!! Overall, a fantastic stay, great property, lovely hosts who left us to our own devices and a great location. Will definitely try to book again!! Thanks Tom and family. 10 thumbs up!!! 👍🏻

Arrived in the dark so had slight delay in finding the right house but Christine came out to help and showed me to my rental. Plenty of treats and more than adequate breakfast were there but I didn't need any local info as I was visiting family. Slept exceptionally well in the comfy bed. Garden was lovely even at this time of year.

Magical place, amazing location, and exactly as described. Unique surroundings with incredibly easy access to a quiet stretch of the Broads via the nearby (5 mins walk) Pitch & Paddle. Community pub a short picturesque walk away and plenty of other options available (The Fleece Inn in Bungay is great). My kids absolutely loved the table football!

perfect accommodation, perfect location. greeted as we arrived by Neil who showed us around the accommodation and games room. accommodation has everything you need milk, chocolate and fresh flowers a nice touch. enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the wildlife in the garden total relaxation. would definitely stay again

I will definitely stay again, Accommodation was faultless, the room was lovely and very clean with a big shower and cute kitchen. There was also a outdoor seating area looking at the fields and could walk down to the pond and see the ducks. Teresa was very helpful

We had a lovely time and would definitely come back if we are in the area again. . Really enjoyed staying in the barn, everything we needed was readily available. There was a very thoughtful welcome basket too. The fresh eggs from the chickens and watching the deer in the garden were our highlights. Jenny and Matt were very friendly with great communication.

What a lovely stay we had. Jason gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and showed us around. The Pumphouse had the wow factor right from the start. Beautiful views from the lounge and kitchen of the manicured garden. All you need in the kitchen to self-cater if you wanted and lots of useful eatery recommendations in the thoughtfully prepared manual. We enjoyed sitting outside in the garden after our days exploring. The whole place just felt really homely but even better. I would definitely recommend and hope to get a chance to return.

Really a nice place! I feel like I could really move there for weeks and enjoy the tranquility of the place. Everything is new, and clean, and works as it should. Communication was impeccable. Catherine even gave me the possibility of check-in in earlier. Thank you for everything!

We had a group of 7 people staying for two nights and the place was perfect! Such a lovely area and a beautiful and clean house Could not recommend more! Great hosts couldn’t do enough to make the stay as amazing as it was x

A PRIVATE AND PEACEFUL PARADISE Working in schools, I found this property thoroughly relaxing, peaceful and private to return to at the end of the day. Draw back the curtains of your bedroom window and you're likely to see many garden birds, crows and jays plus owls sweeping the field at dawn. Deer are also frequently in the field. This is a simple and straight-forward property with a tiled floor throughout but with carpet in the bedroom. Recently redecorated complete with brand new double glazing and good lighting. The heating is from a couple of new no nonsense convector heaters that are more than adequate for the space. The kitchen is fully equipped and the shower room/toilet is also beautifully tiled out. The bedroom is small but comfortable with a double bed and some wall-mounted desk space that's very useful for laptops etc. Off road parking means that your vehicle is safe, secure and always easy to access. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay at Hannah’s beautiful annex. So peaceful and relaxing. Immaculately clean and tidy. Loved the granola, yogurt, teas and coffee that were thoughtfully included. Booked to eat at The White Horse pub at the end of the road, which was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic location for exploring Norfolk! Was made to feel very welcome by Deborah and Mark and the cottage was a home away from home. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could need in it from the fluffy towels to a very comfy bed. The welcome treat of tea, milk and biscuits also went down a treat! Thank you for a lovely stay and will definitely recommend The Swallows!

Lovely stay with beautiful scenery. Thank you so much Sally and Neil for having us, we all had a wonderful stay and you made us feel very welcome, including our pups Henry and Mabel! We all feel very relaxed and the location was perfect to explore The Norfolk Broads and Thetford Forest which was stunning. Thank you so much, our stay was peaceful and energising.

We had a great stay at Catherine‘s place. The property itself is quite large, especially the downstairs living space. The kitchen had a wide range of utensils to use and one of the bonuses was that this property had a washing machine and also a tumble dryer which was very good with a toddler in the family. Speaking of having a toddler, there were many different items which were great for a family with little ones. There were plates and bowls which were colourful and plastic, there were also some toys for children and on top of that there was a stair safety gate which could be fitted and also a travel cot too. Catherine gave very clear instructions for finding the house and there was more than enough parking space for two cars for those visiting. Not that we use them, but there was the availability of some garden furniture and a large patio at the front of the property. Friendly sheep would walk by in the field directly behind the property which was nice to see.
