This cosy apartment in Koolunga House was the perfect home-from-home for 5-weeks during a local work placement. The location was ideal, far enough away from the business of Great Yarmouth, but close to local shops, food spots and a walk along the river to Gorleston's lovely sandy beach and cliffs - great for coffee and dog spotting! The house has endless character and the balcony was a dreamy escape - both during the day overlooking the lush garden and dragonflies, and in the evenings for spotting stars and fireworks in the distance. The owners and house manager were a message away and really helpful. I would absolutely stay at Koolunga House again if I’m ever back in the area.✨

Modern chalet with everything we needed. So many little touches that we weren't expecting, a very nice welcome pack, lots of tea and coffee, salt and pepper loo rolls, etc. It was cold and wet for most of the time we were there but the chalet was warm and cosy. Big enclosed decking area for our dogs. Will be looking to book again.

This is the most amazing flat in an incredible position. We loved every bit of our stay. The flat was beautifully decorated and well equiped. The view over the sea and the pier was stunning and we loved exploring the area. The local shops and the restaurants were a treat. Thank you, Hilary, for being such a perfect Host. x

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Christine’s property as for us it is conveniently located to visit family. The house is always clean and warm, well equipped and maintained with everything needed for a stay. The extra touches such as Christmas decorations , and welcome items are really lovely and appreciated. The beds are comfortable and the house is quiet and warm.

Every Year 7 of us take a trip to a cabin/holiday home. This year we were lucky as this was our second trip. This was a beautiful 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom sea view house. Absolutely loved the house. Would be perfect in summer but we still had a cosy stay. 🌊 All the shops do close early and the nearest village with a supermarket is 20 mins away. Next time I would take food just to be safe as the house had all the cooking essentials needed 🧑‍🍳

A lovely house for a winter beach weekend. The house is pristine, modern, cosy and tastefully decorated. Located in a quiet area and a one minute walk to a children's park and the beach. 10 minutes to Lowerstoft and the beautiful Carlton Marshes and a 10 minute drive from Southwold.

A wonderful house for a celebration as the downstairs area is large and Lee has provided games and a jukebox for a great time. The only thing I would share with people is that the bedrooms share an open vault ceiling so, if like me, you shared with snoring and reading folk, you can hear all the noise and lights from the other rooms. Other than that, a completely gem of a house! Lovely fish and chips from “Brilliant” and even walked to Yarmouth and back along the beach! Thank you Lee for being such a great host too. Would come back - with earplugs or family members who don’t snore!

This is our favourite place to stay in Norwich. This time we had the pleasure of meeting Ziggy the cat! Hope to see you again soon thanks Hannah!

We had such a wonderful break, children had the best time crabbing and stomping, beaching and paddling. Location was great, ideal for ferry over to southwold. We felt very at home, enjoyed having a fire and dining together at the big table or chatting on the super comfy chairs and window seats. Bell Inn and Anchor both offered amazing menus. Local shops provided everything we needed. We hope to be back again soon.

Fab stay at Alicia's place. A unique and spacious cottage in a beautiful location. We loved the peace and quiet and hired paddle boards from Alicia to explore the river that runs just across the meadow. Everything you need has been thought of which was really welcome when travelling with children. We visit relatives a lot in Norfolk and this is one of the best places we have stayed.

We had a lovely stay at Horizon House. The house was beautifully presented and had everything we needed as a family. Comfortable and cosy and a great location with sea views and a short walk down to Cromer town centre and the Pier. Laura was really helpful providing some excellent local recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We loved our time in North Norfolk and will definitely be back.

This riverside apartment was a real find! The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with a comfortable bed. The welcome pack of extremely tasty bread, butter milk and eggs was much appreciated. Travelling with our two dogs we found it very convenient to have the use of the small front garden for their early morning and late evening toilet visits. Lily and Sasha enjoyed the short circular walk through Falcon Meadow (opposite the property) and back through the village. We could imagine how lovely it would be to sit by the river on warm summer days/evenings but the December weather was not conducive! We would have liked more time to explore Bungay with its variety of independent and quirky shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants but we did find time for a very tasty dinner at the Fleece Inn. Jan and Mark (+Rolo the Spaniel) are the perfect hosts, making us feel more like friends than paying guests, We would highly recommend and hope to stay here again. Anne, Keith, Lily and Sasha.

A week of well appointed cocooned warmth and stormy sea-side walks. Jane was a perfect host and an immediate responder. The kitchen - overlooking the sea about 100m away - has all you need: including egg cups, ice and knife sharpener (so often omitted in Airbnbs). The sitting room was equipped with the latest smart TV, and there was unlimited hot water from a shower room to die for. Comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms. Three excellent restaurants: Number 10, Marmalade’s Bistro and the Bank Nepalese curry house all within 10’ walking distance.

Beautiful surroundings and we loved eating our breakfast outside by the stream. We didn’t use the sauna as we only stayed one night but maybe next time. Really comfy bed and bedroom and bathroom were super warm. Powerful hot double shower. Enjoyed playing a few games of scrabble when we first arrived, a wonderful little stay x

A lot of care and thought has gone into setting up this place. Well equipped kitchen, toys and boards games for children of various ages (ours were especially delighted by the giant box of Lego and the star projector), tasteful decor and views from the windows. You can see the beach from the windows - it was that close! Also many other less crowded beaches within 15-30 minutes drive nearby. We were very impressed and had a very comfortable stay. Emma was friendly and helped us with parking and check in. Thank you Emma!

If I could give Sea Mist 6 stars, I would. It’s perfectly located in a lovely village and Elaine has taken so much trouble to make it really quite luxurious. Spotlessly clean, bright, spacious and cosy. Lovely Christmas decorations were such a thoughtful touch along with the yummy treats Elaine left including crumpets and jam. I’ve never stayed in an AirBnB with such a well equipped and stylish kitchen, and having Netflix on both TVs was such a treat. Toiletries to use in the bathroom were such a surprise and very useful if you forget your shampoo like I did! The outside space wasn’t used as it’s December but in warmer months it would be great to have this private area to relax in, and to have the parking space as well was excellent. Thank you Elaine, I will certainly be back at some point.

Briony is a fabulous host. Communicated throughout the booking and gave some great insight on where to eat and what to do. Explained the position of Airbnb and helped us make a booking for dinner when we could not find anything available. The spacious accommodation has two big bathrooms, and the kitchen was welcoming (we did not cook as we needed more time). It had nice coffee, orange juice, and Prosecco to welcome us. Good quality linen. We loved how easy it was to walk in the town centre through the historical streets of Norwich, and the beautiful Cathedral is very close.

It’s okay to pull right up and unload all of your stuff right in front of the iron gate. It’s a pretty melow and sleepy seaside yown concerning such matters. Host said up to ten minutes parking there should be okay. Note that the road that the apartment entrance is located on is a single-lane “alleyway” and easy to pass right by. Comingbfrom Sainsburys and heading down Nicholas Road, it is the small street just before the light at Regent Street. You can ise the Just Park app to park at Sainsburys cheaply, but recommend parking at the southern edge of the parking lot in some of the wider family spaces. I got a major ding on the side of my car from parking in the busier section of the parking lot for several days.

First time family visit to Cromer and Patricia's place was a fantastic location to explore the local area, being close to the beachfront, shops and restaurants. The apartment was immaculate with stunning views of the surrounding area, which came in handy watching the carnival parade and evening fireworks display from the top floor lounge area. Would definitely return again and would highly recommend to those considering a break in Cromer!
