The perfect location to enjoy some peace and tranquility in the countryside. The house also benefits from being right on the lake with a private jetty where you can use all the kayaks and paddle-boards provided. In the surrounding areas there are some beautiful walks where you can explore the nearby areas. The local village in South Cerney is within walking distance which has some convenience stores. It is also very close to drive to some bigger supermarkets for anything else needed. Inside the house, everything is pristine and decor is to a very high standard. The kitchen and dining area was a great open space with room for all of us to be in without feeling cramped. We found a lovely welcome basket included by the hosts and there are all the amenities you would need in the kitchen. The layout of the house was perfect and the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was great, even for a group of girls! Overall we had a fabulous trip and the hosts were always on hand to provide recommendations.

Lovely stay with 6 adults and 2 infants. Great set up for kids and very nice main room and decking area. Hot tub, BBQ, kayak and right next to a lovely lake. What more do you want!? Only slight draw back is you can hear the road but didn't bother us at all.

The cottage is truly fantastic. Immaculate and clean and Olly and Lois were very quick to respond and help out. The fizz on arrival was just another great bonus. Loved the log burner and the on-site facilities. Handy parking. Very comfy and spacious for me and my family. Fantastic hosts! We will definitely be going back.

It’s easy to see why this place is booked up pretty much non-stop. The house its self has everything you need for a break and the added bonus of water sports being available (friends staying near us didn’t have such a luxury). As for the location, remote enough to be quiet but close enough to lots of other stuff to do. I was on a canoe in the middle of one of the lakes and couldn’t hear a thing. The area is absolutely stunning and the Sarah and Stuart couldn’t have been more helpful. They let us in a little early as they were ready and always on hand to help and even checked in to see if we needed anything. If external commitments allowed, I for sure would have booked longer. Absolute gem of a find!

Magical Tipi In An Orchard Near Hereford & Ross

Enjoyed a wonderful couple of nights at White House glamping. The setting is really beautiful and peaceful, apart from the cows! We enjoyed a couple of lovely walks from the site and lots of nice towns to visit nearby. The site is extremely well equipped with everything you need so you don’t have to worry about packing all the camping paraphernalia. Would definitely recommend as a get away from it all break. The only tiny downside for us was a neighbouring dog who used our fire pit as a toilet! But this was quickly sorted by the helpful manager (sorry didn’t get her name.)

Great location. Beautiful house equipped with everything you could need to make for a comfortable relaxing stay. Very quiet and peaceful and a very well maintained site. Lots of things to do for all ages and it’s a huge bonus having kayaks etc available for use on the lake - the whole family had so much fun. We would have loved to have stayed longer - so may be back! The Lake House on Windrush, Cotswolds Waterpark

Myself and five friends had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Lake House. Mark was prompt with any queries and kindly let us check-in early after some of our group had travelled from far away. The house was as described and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen and appreciated the three spot-less bathrooms. The sun shone for us, so we were able to enjoy the wrap-around decked outdoor seating area and take advantage of the kayak and rowing boat. The attention to detail with the provision of sporting equipment and board games was fantastic! We enjoyed walks along the canal and to other easily accessible lakes and had a good choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. My friends all discussed returning in the future as a group and with our families. Thank you Mark for making our weekend.

We had a magical long weekend break here at the beginning of March. We had ridiculously good weather and depsite the frosty nights spend most of the time during the day outside. The location is perfect. The positioning of the house meant the outside space overlooking the lake was in sun all day. The house is beautiful and was immaculately presented including a bottle of fizz and a cake! There was enough of the basics to mean that you didn't have to go to the shops for every little thing. There was even the luxury of little things like cling film. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms amazing and well equipped and it was so relaxing to sit in the hot tub (or on the decking) and just watch the wildlife on the pond. The rowing boat was fun too. The location is very quiet and secure, but there are great places to eat in easy walking distance. The only complaint? We didn't catch any fish! :O)

The room was absolutely fantastic as was the en-suite. The bar was very relaxed with a great atmosphere and the restaurant had great service with an amazing menu and food. The staff were great and very friendly and the location was stunning. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Ideal accommodation for what I required, Craig the site manager was really helpful especially when I had enough frozen meals to last all week and there wasn't enough space in the small ice box freezer, Craig offered me the use of their Chest Freezer, although I didn't eventually require it. I also appreciated the caravan being warm every night, and providing clean bedding and towels. The only downside was the very poor WiFi signal, I couldn't access my emails and couldn't video call home. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location around a 20 minute drive from Cheltenham, I would definitely recommend Severnside Caravan Park.

We had a lovely stay at the glamping site. There were only two sets of guests during our midweek stay and we were one of the families so it was very peaceful and relaxing on site. All the amenities were spotless and the site has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Worth mentioning that the kitchen facility is communal (not private as we originally thought) but guests are able to take portable camping stove and equipment to their own tipee if you prefer more privacy. There are so many thoughtful gestures such as toys/ books/ games for the kids and even dog toys provided along with outdoor amenities that are listed to keep the kids entertained! We took our 5year old twin boys who did not want to leave and just loved their glamping adventure. A big shout out to Jo (the onsite manager) who kept the place spotless and checked in with guests regularly to ensure a comfortable stay. Jo also gives great advice on the best places to visit during your stay…..a mammoth thank you Jo!! :-)

This was our first stay at White House Glamping, and it was excellent. I took my son and we met up with a friend and her son, all of us staying in the same tipi. Manager Jo was on site and really friendly and helpful. The site was really well cared for, clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed, even marshmallows and toasting sticks for the firepit. A lot of thought has gone into making this a great place to stay with a few little extras to lots of other similar places.

Beautiful home in a stunning location. Holly (the owner), Jayne and Chris (housekeeping/ maintenance) were so easy to communicate with. We had one issue and within ten mins of calling, Jayne and Chris were at the door to resolve it. Very clean, comfortable and so peaceful. Lovely coffee shop on site, Cirencester is 10 mins away, and Stow is 30 (free parking at Tesco!). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Thanks Jill we had an excellent Easter break with 2 of our adult children. The house was spotless and we all loved the decor. It was very cosy especially with the wood burner lit. The property is ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds, and Jill’s suggestion to explore the villages like Bibury and Bourton on the Water early morning is a must. We drove through both villages early afternoon and it was packed..more like theme parks! We would highly recommend this property and Jill is an excellent host with exceptional communication

The house was beautiful, in a great location with stunning views. The loft room was a great surprise to show the rest of the group. Laura & Dries we're great accommodating hosts and made us feel very welcome. There's plenty of activities in the area and lakes to explore. It was perfect to then come back to the house and watch the sun set from the deck.

We had a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived, it was not just a check in, it was a nice hot cuppa, and a lovely chat until we were shown our rooms. Our stay in the four poster room, with adjoining sitting room was amazing, as is the house with all it’s history, if we hadn’t been off to a New Years party, we would have happily stayed there. Would thoroughly recommend !!!
