Apartment vacation rentals in Galena

This condo is perfect for a little getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The bed was comfortable! The jet tub was relaxing and perfect for 2 people! Downfall is that the shower head is VERY small and there’s a weird clunking behind the toilet, in the plumbing.

We visited for very busy October weekend and really appreciated the location right above Main Street. The entry was private, well lit and it was nice to have a patio to relax on. Free parking was easy to find right up on Bench street. The unit was very spacious with a sitting area, tv, comfortable queen size bed, kitchenette and large bathroom. The entire place was spotless! The apartment is right above our favorite bakery/coffee shop and is walkable to all shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms and park. Even though it is right above Main Street, it was very quiet which is important after being in crowds all day. Can’t wait to visit and stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful apartment; clean, homey, well-stocked, and comfortable. Not to mention, we would come back for the shower alone! A few things of note, there is no designated parking, only street parking (but we never had an issue finding a spot). Also, there are two different apartments above the restaurant so we had some confusion figuring out which door to go to upon check in. Overall, an excellent stay that I’d definitely recommend!

We have stayed at David’s place several times when visiting family and friends in Shullsburg WI, the community we grew up in. He takes good care of the place, and shared his plans to replace some carpet.

We enjoyed our stay at Nick's place. It was quite spacious! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and cutlery allowing us to cook during our stay. The place was also very centrally located. We were able to walk to a good many of our destinations. We'd stay here again in the future!

We have found our home away from home while daughter attends college in Dubuque. Everything was great. We will definitely be returning.

nicely furnished space, felt very homey and was easy to relax and enjoy! was exactly what I was looking for for the weekend and very conveniently located in Scales Mound.

The apartment is very nice. It is well-furnished and comfortable. We liked being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The garage and elevator are a bonus, especially in the winter months! It was too cold to utilize the back patio, but we are returning in the warmer months to take advantage of the view. We highly recommend this listing!

Was a very nice place to stay. A few steps but great exercise! Well done apartment, only thing was that there could of been a few extra towels. Good thing we only stayed 2 days or we would of had to do laundry. Would stay again.

We had a great stay for our girls trip to Galena. The apartment was beautiful and so spacious! The location was perfect and just around the block from the VFW - our favorite stop! We loved our stay! We were ready to book again for next year but did notice the price went up quite a bit so unfortunately we won’t be able to. Otherwise we would love to stay again!

The apartment was very cute and cozy. It’s close to everything you’d want to do while in Dubuque. Kelly was very helpful and responsive.

Lovely and charming apartment! Plenty of room to spread out and location could not have been better! Walkable to all the shops and restaurants. We’ll be back to stay again!

just as expected! it was a great location. it is on an incline when you're coming back from main street, so that can be a challenge if you've indulged a bit 😂 but that's not Nick's fault. the apartment was comfortable. the beds were great. it had everything we needed. Very responsive to any questions. We would stay again! thanks Nick!

We loved our stay. It was in a perfect location, close to everything in downtown Galena. Ashlee was very responsive and the suite was great in every way. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay felt so comfortable. Loved being right downtown within walking distance to everything. Great shopping and great night life. This was our 4th trip and we will keep coming back.

Simon was easy to work with. Everything was as it said it would be. We walked pretty much everywhere & it wasn’t bad at all. We missed most the leaves changing colors by a week or so but it was still a great time. We would gladly stay there again!

Very nice place. Super welcoming from the handwritten note to the delicious cookies waiting for us at check in. Right on Main street and was just what we wanted to celebrate a short getaway for our anniversary. Mark and Lisa were extremely responsive and will definitely recommend to others.
