Beachfront vacation rentals in Folkestone & Hythe District

Just returned from a lovely long weekend. All I can say is 'wow'... I'm not sure I've ever walked into a place and within 5 minutes said, 'I want to live here!' The house itself is immaculate and has a very cozy feel. It has a unique decor which was very cool but it's the view that did it for us - just amazing! So peaceful and calm. It had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The homely touches such as the CDs, records and books were great, we had some fun playing music, enjoying great local food and generally having some much needed down time. Our dog absolutely had the time of her life and loved the freedom of the beach! We will absolutely be returning here, thank you for a wonderful time!

The house is great and suitable for our party of 9. It is very spacious with 2 big lounges and plenty of bathrooms. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with pans and crockery. We stayed over Christmas and Maria had kindly decorated, put up a tree and made the house festive and cosy. We also found a big box of chocolates and a bottle of wine on our arrival! The location of the house is terrific. it is very close to both the sea and the town centre. Despite this, it is a really peaceful house. We had a super time and a very happy Christmas!

Great winter stay! We walked along the seafront to Whitstable, spent the day there and then got a taxi back in the evening once it had gotten dark. We had a fab time and loved the outdoor shower even in the winter! Thank you Kay

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Lisa's place during our short break to Camber Sands, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The accommodation was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our needs. The location was perfect for enjoying the beautiful beach walks, and we loved exploring the nearby pubs, which offered great food and a warm atmosphere. Getting around was easy, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Lisa was a fantastic host, and we highly recommend her place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the stunning surroundings of Camber Sands. We can't wait to return for another visit!

We loved our stay at Greatstone, well equipped comfortable home. Lovely to step out and walk on the beach. Plenty to do within short driving distance. Rye is lovely. Excellent well stocked spar along the road.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pevensey. David was a fantastic host; extremely responsive and couldn’t have done enough for us. He sent across lots of recommendations for things to do in the local area and even loaned us a deck of cards to use for games during our stay. The place was easy to find and bigger than we were expecting. It has a fully kitted out kitchen, a super comfy king-size bed and the entire place was clean and spotless. The location was perfect - straight onto the beach. A really lovely spot despite the fact that it was very stormy weather during our stay! We will definitely be coming back here again during the summer months

Anh was super responsive and promptly attended to all my queries. The house was very cosy and right beside the beach (a big plus). Being pet-allowed also made the entire stay more enjoyable. I would definitely come back if I ever get in the area again.

We had a great week at Claire and Rémi's beautiful house. Everything is done to make you feel at ease. The house is very nice, functional with a beautiful sea view. Claire and Rémi are very welcoming and available. We were even able to take advantage of the pool!

Had a fabulous time at Wendy’s lodge! Lovely peaceful location with pool on site and near lots of other nature attractions. Wendy was a fantastic host - super helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

From the moment I got there the host was in contact to make sure everything was up to scratch and that I had settled in ok having everything I needed, the communication was fantastic when I asked questions, would not hesitate in recommending this lovely space

Maggie’s property is really special. It’s a marvellous old house in a fabulous seaside location. The interior is charming and very comfortable. The kitchen area is well equipped and is a fantastic space to hang out in. I imagine the house is even more wonderful in summer, with its beautiful garden and pool to enjoy. Personally I could enjoy just sitting for hours in the “observation room” at the top of the house watching the shipping go back and forth on the Thames Estuary. My family and I LOVED this house.

We had an amazing short break at Alan and Bill’s place. I cannot recommend it enough! the house is beautiful with full sea view (just across the road), very well equipped, and they have thought of everything you might need. While the swimming pool wasn’t heated during our stay in late October, the house offered plenty more, including a hot tub, sauna, and dedicated BBQ area. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog to play comfortably. In addition to the beautiful house, Alan and Bill were the most amazing hosts we've experienced in nearly a decade of Airbnb stays. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, responding promptly to all our questions from booking through our stay and accommodating our requests to the best they could. We’re already considering our next trip!

We loved everything about Chris's flat. It has been beautifully refurbished and is both stylish and comfortable. It has everything you need for a great stay. We felt very at home. It was perfect for us (a couple and a 12 year old). The absolute bonus is the direct access to the beach through the pretty communal garden. The flat is also very private. We could have easily stayed for longer and will definitely be back. We also enjoyed discovering Broadstairs (loads of lovely cafes and restaurants and beautiful buildings) and the fantastic coastal walks from the doorstep. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Robert’s Beach House! The location is perfect—right on the coastline with stunning views out to the sea that we could never get enough of. The apartment was spotless, tidy, and so well-maintained, making it a truly relaxing space to come back to after exploring. It was also an easy walk into town, 15 mins, where we enjoyed some lovely restaurants and mooching around! Having underground parking was such a bonus, especially during Storm Darragh—it kept us and our car safe and dry! A big thanks also to Fila, who greeted us when we arrived and was so helpful on our stay. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend grabbing breakfast at the Bus Cafe; literally a 5 minute walk from the apartment, it was the perfect way to end our last morning, enjoying a delicious Bacon Focaccia and coffee with more beautiful views. Thank you so much, Robert, for a fantastic stay! We can’t wait to come back.

What a fabulous cosy apartment, beautifully furnished & well equipped. Amazingly placed to enjoy the beach & seaside as well as exploring the sights of East Sussex! This was a perfect base for us & we particularly enjoyed a trip to Rye Harbour nature reserve. So much more to see & do! Many thanks Carla & family!

We had a lovely family gathering here. Loved the close proximity of the beach and had some lovely walks from the door with the dogs. We ate in and the kitchen was very well equipped for larger numbers. The two lounges worked well for us we used one as a playroom. The rooms were spacious, larger than in the photos and lovely and warm. Jo was a very good host, with clear and warm communication.

This place is perfect. Beautiful location. So well equipped with very generous welcome goodies.

There is a natural beauty to this area. It’s very peaceful and private. The views front and back are delightful. It definitely offers a slower pace and the pebbly beach that extends from the back yard to the shore line is expansive. The house is light and airy and very welcoming. It’s a home and you relax immediately on entry.

We had a great week on the Sussex Coast. It’s a lovely house, fully equipped and fantastic views. The region has great walks along the coast and across the countryside. Would love to come back again.

More than met our expectations, and as soon as we walked in we felt at home. Comfortable, well equipped and overlooking the beach. Drawing the curtains to a sunrise over the sea in the morning and a sunset in the evening is a joy. Such a quiet location, but an easy stroll into Hythe town centre.
