House vacation rentals in Elkins

Reservation, checkin and checkout were smooth. The unit is bigger than it appears in the pictures with a good sized living/dining/kitchen that is open plan and nice sized bedrooms upstairs. The WiFi worked well and there is a TV in the living room and every bedroom. If you want a more analog experience, a few TVs have VCRs and there is a wide selection of family friendly VHS tapes.

Nice house in a great location. Close to downtown Davis and activities at Canaan resort. Kid friendly space upstairs. The kitchen has the necessities for cooking and is open to the living room. The host is responsive and was easy to communicate with.

We really enjoyed staying at this Air BnB, especially since we were permitted to have a dog there. We enjoyed how close it is to Canaan Valley Ski Resort, Blackwater Falls State Park and Davis, WV. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were as expected.

She was an excellent host and had so many available amenities if you had forgot something.

The house was just as described. It was perfect for our little family getaway! Tons of space to spread out. Loads of fun extras. The view is amazing! We had a great time!

5 star stay here in Davis. The space is beautiful and spacious end unit townhouses on two levels. The hot tub was brand new and water was pristine. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. There is a lovely community space a few feet away with playground, pool and lake. I would highly recommend this place

Emily and Jon-Michael were great hosts. They provided great guidance on what to expect and answered our questions promptly, both before the trip and while we were there. They also were quick to address minor things that cropped up. The house itself was perfect for our Thankgiving trip, offering a clean, well-stocked kitchen; a big dining room table; lots of places to curl up and relax; and comfy places to sleep. The kids also loved the hot tub! We'd gladly go back.

We really loved our stay in this beautiful house with the natural surroundings. It was really nice to have lots of windows and doors to enjoy the natural lighting and the breeze through the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely done and had good counter space and storage for our stay. I loved having the closet and dresser in the primary bedroom, which allowed me to put away my clothes. The furniture and lighting was tasteful and added to our stay. The fireplace and sauna were nice accessories. The EV charger was wonderful for us to have and really made our stay much more convenient. We would 1000% stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Leslie’s Canaan Valley Ski Retreat, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! The house was incredibly comfortable and perfectly equipped for our needs. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to the ski slopes, making it super convenient for our winter adventures. Leslie was an outstanding host, communicating with us promptly and ensuring that the house was stocked to perfection. From kitchen essentials to cozy blankets, she truly thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend Leslie’s retreat to anyone looking for a cozy getaway in Canaan Valley. This Airbnb that Kevin and Denise hosted was very clean, and the country setting made for a very peaceful stay for us. They had so many little touches in the home to make it into a very comfortable stay for us. They provided snacks, coffee, soda, water bottles, many blankets and towels, and anything else that we could possibly desire for a superb stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, with all the items needed to cook our meals. They answered all our questions fully and quickly. They outdid themselves as perfect hosts. Their Airbnb gets a "10 out of10" highest rating!

Heather’s home was a perfect home base for a long weekend of XC skiing and hiking during some wild weather, and with a baby! Heather was very flexible and helpful throughout and we were big fans of the space and location; plan to visit again!

Shannon’s place in rural Eglon is an incredible gem! The house is spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views. Our dog loved exploring the property with us. We’ve never seen such an impressive DVD collection :) It’s a short drive to Oakland MD, Thomas, Davis, and lots of nature. Shannon is a very generous and warm host, and she was highly responsive even in the midst of winter weather. Highly recommend!

Christina's place is an ideal launching pad for skiing / exploring Canaan Valley. We used it as a home base for a weekend at Timberline (10 mins drive). The house is clean and comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood.

We very much enjoyed our time in the house. It was exactly what we needed, a comfortable home in a beautiful setting. The house was stocked with everything we needed for the week. We loved the special touches for our dog and loved that we could bring him on this adventure with us. Location was perfect and not far from Davis and the outdoor adventures we went on.

We enjoyed a very cozy stay here in Davis for some skiing. Cameron’s condo was well appointed and in a wonderful location. We appreciated the area recommendations and would absolutely stay here again.

I would highly recommend staying here. If I ever come back to the area I would love to book this place again.

This was a nice place to stay, it has a very nice view and easy access to the main road. It also had good size parking for all vehicles which we usually struggle with. We also got a quick response to a concern we had. And Even tho our trip was cut short we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend staying here.

The family owned “lodge” was perfect for our stay; spacious, clean, quiet, and well laid out for times together or when private time is desired. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed to eat in. Several restaurants nearby: the town of Thomas had unique stores & galleries. Davis, WV had a nice, established brewery. Skiing, sledding, tubing, disc golf activities nearby. Brandie (owner) was very helpful & responsive when questions arose. Great place for families, etc. Highly recommend when visiting the area.

We had a wonderful time. Sitting on the porch was so peaceful. Everything was very clean and we loved the antiques throughout the house.

Our group loved this home! It was conveniently located close to the lodge, however I do not recommend the walk in ski boots. The mudroom was perfect for getting ready and drying out clothes. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of counter space. We would definitely stay here again.
