What a gorgeous place to stay, greeted by the bouncing Milo and lovely young Charlie. Mims was a quaint warm and inviting. Fresh eggs, milk and lovely bread and loads of recommendations of where to go and what to see. Monique, Mark, Charlie, Milo and Gordy the sheep were amazing hosts. Would recommend to any one.

I stayed for five weeks and had a great time! If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place in a rural location, look no further. The unit is as advertised. The hosts Christiane and Walter were very friendly and welcoming and graciously included me on some social outings, giving me a chance to see some of the surroundings, as well as generously making recommendations. The dogs Holly and Otto are also very nice; although, keep in mind that they bark loudly the first time they meet someone (or encounter a strange car). I finally got to see the Southern Lights (Aurora Australis) while staying there. I also enjoyed meeting the neighbors. And both a grocery store and beaches are within easy driving distance. The next time I visit Snug, I know where I will be staying!

A spacious cottage and a friendly and helpful host. My stay was very comfortable and peaceful, and waking up to birdsong was very relaxing. An easy walk to the beach and local shops, this is a great base for touring around southern Tasmania.
