Ryan was quick to respond and extremely helpful when we came upon a snag in our travel plans! The house is in a great location, has spectacular views from the back decks and right on the beach. Driving to Corolla and Cape Hatteras was very easy from the location and close to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping etc. Everything worked well in the house and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware! We are looking forward to renting again in the fall or next year early spring.

Brooke’s listing was very enjoyable. My family of 5 including a 1.5 year old were all very comfortable there. Very central location to beach, supermarket, restaurants, arcade/laser-tag, and other activities. The home was very clean, beds were comfortable and living room comfortably sat us all. We really appreciated the all of the beach equipment Brooke had available and my son and I also really enjoyed the bikes that were there available to use. Highly recommend and would definitely come back! Thank you Brooke for being such a responsive and great host!

We absolutely adored this home! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The sound views was the cherry on top, especially the gorgeous sunset every evening. The condo itself was super clean and exceeded our expectations of cleanliness. We appreciated all the little extras the host made available and the bed was comfortable and restful. Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

Ryan’s was perfect for our getaway! The space looked exactly as described and depicted in the photos. Ryan was really friendly and communicative. We had plans to arrive earlier than the 2pm check in, and though traffic patterns didn’t allow for it, Ryan reached out letting us know we could get in as early as noon. Check in and check out was smooth and we were incredibly comfortable the entire time. We appreciated the little touches of snacks and the booklet that included suggestions of food and activities, as well as a breakdown on if it was casual, more upscale, and child friendly. We didn’t get to ride the bikes but were really excited at the possibility. It’s about a 20 min walk to the beach or a 5 min drive with easy access to most things. Highly recommend!

It was our first time to the Outer Banks and we are glad that we stayed here! The place was very clean and spacious, and in a quiet location that was not far from the places we wanted to visit during our stay. Diane was proactive about reaching out to recommend restaurants and anything else that we needed. A big bonus (besides the amazing location) was our last night where we were able to just step in the backyard and have a clear view of so many stars and constellations! Since the area wasn’t very flooded by light we could see so much, it was awesome! Overall, we would love to come back here also during the warmer weather as well to take advantage of the pool and amenities provided. We highly recommend Diane’s place!

Jessica's communication was awesome and she is a fantastic host overall. The apartment is very nice and the location is also great as longa s you don't mind walking-- about a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Duck boardwalk. Lots of shops right nearby within a 5 minute walk too. The only caveat I'd say for the unit is it's not ideal for traveling with a toddler (which is no fault of the host nor really a negative in and of itself-- not every unit needs to be). The windows of the 2nd bedroom are south facing and we had a hard time getting it dark enough for nap time even with our own blackout curtains, and there are about 20 steps to walk up to the 2nd floor unit. The open floor plan is great, but also makes it a little hard to toddler proof. Again, not a negative, but just something to be aware for families traveling with young kids.

This was a fantastic house for our family (six teenagers ~ three boys, three girls). There were bedrooms and beds such that almost everyone had their own bed. (two girls had to share a king which was perfectly fine). The kitchen was well stocked, there were ample paper goods (paper towels, tissues, toilet paper) and coffee pods to get you started. Each bathroom had a hair dryer and Tresemme shampoo/conditioner along with Dove body wash so you could pack at little lighter. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room at the table/on the couch for all 8 of us (often when we rent houses the table/couches don't seat all of us at once). The house was very close to Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockey's Ridge, good restaurants, ice cream and grocery stores. We've stayed at the OBX five times in the last 5 years and this spot was the most convenient and comfortable. If it had a pool table it would be impossible to beat.

The place was exactly as pictured- but I didn't realize there was no common sitting area. However, our weather was beautiful and the outside sitting area under the deck comfortably served as that. Just be aware, if you like to watch movies, or sporting events together- it has to be from bed. That being said- the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped- and despite a person being upstairs, the upstairs noise was minimal. Easy walk to the sound and the ocean. We especially appreciated the umbrella, chairs and cart that were available for our use. We definitely enjoyed our long weekend at the beach! Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Christa’s Cozy Beach Box! It was the perfect spot for our group of five and two dogs to celebrate Thanksgiving. The home was cozy, inviting, and had everything we needed. The central location made it easy to enjoy great shopping and restaurants nearby, and the backyard was perfect for hanging out and relaxing. We truly felt at home and would love to stay again the next time we visit. Highly recommend!

From the time I checked in I felt like I was at home. I arrived early and Marcia was still cleaning and she still let me come by and look at the place. When it came time for check in, she showed me everything in the apt., where to find the bikes and beach stuff and also showed me her book of local recommendations for activities and restaurants. The apt. was immaculate and had everything I needed. It was a very relaxing week and it was made possible by this cozy little place that was nestled in a very quiet neighborhood of KDH. Looking forward to returning to KDH next year..still things left to visit and see. 😊

The condo is in a great spot with some nice amenities. The tennis courts were empty, so it was easy to play if you wanted, and while I didn’t swim since it wasn’t the season, the pool looked like it would be nice in warmer weather. The location is perfect—close to Bay Drive with the wide sound-side walking path and an easy walk to the monument. There are three flights of stairs to get to the unit (this was mentioned in the listing, so I knew ahead of time). I didn’t mind at all, and the upside is no one above you and amazing views from the porch. The condo is simple but had everything I needed, and I was very comfortable. It’s also absolutely spotless—they clearly put a lot of effort into keeping it clean, which was so reassuring. Easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Thanks so much for hosting!

We had a great time. Very nice place. Much better than a hotel. The host was extremely helpful. This was the first Airbnb for us and we would do this again. We enjoyed the area and it helped to have a tremendous place to stay.

We had the most amazing stay! Rebecca was extremely communicative and made sure we knew everything we needed to! The place looked exactly as pictures and was very clean. It was a short walk to the beach (about 5 minutes) and the private pool was so nice to come back to! We would absolutely stay at one of Rebecca’s houses again!

Shane’s place looked even better than the pictures. Check in was easy and Shane provided all the necessary toiletries for the entire duration of our trip. The house is nestled in the heart of the outer banks which made exploring other areas quick and easy. The hot tub was a nice touch and we loved how private the house felt. We absolutely loved our stay at Kearney Castle and we will definitely be back. The rental was in the perfect location and the views of the ocean were perfection. I love that the owners allow us to bring our dogs. They loved the beach too! The hosts recommendations for local restaurants were spot on. We loved Mulligans and Noosa Beach Grille. The deck was awesome also. we visited off season but the street was quiet and the beach was mostly empty, which we loved for the dogs! The house isn't brand new but that's what we loved. We loved the handwritten note instructions on the fridge and the sea shell shelf as a guest book of memories for all the past guests!

This is a beautiful cozy home just a short walk to the beach. We felt right at home here. You can see the sunset from the balcony. it's right next to a restaurant and Ashley's espresso parlour is only a short walk away. Hosts were very accommodating. We were traveling with kids and they allowed us to check in early to drop off our bags. We also forgot something after checkout and we were able to retrieve our item. They communicate very quickly. I only stay at Airbnbs in the OBX that has an outdoor shower (part of the experience- life changing lol) so this had everything we needed. Even close to the grocery store! would definitely recommend. Would definitely stay here again. also, beds are comfy. water pressure great. water temperatures also great lol

This home was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. The kitchen was my favorite part. It was so well stocked with quality equipment! The air conditioning was wonderful in both units. The two houses in one make it perfect for family that need a get away from the crowd from time to time. I can’t say enough good things about this house. The walk to the beach was super easy even with a 2 year old and 2 three year olds. Such a good place to play games with your loved ones, cook memorable meals and of course enjoy the beach.

We visted Cape Hatteras (the lighthouse is undergoing repairs), the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockey's Ridge State Park (beautiful sunset) and we did daily hikes around Nags Head Wood Preserve, which is a very short walk from the house. We also had some great food and enjoyed the available bicycles.

Martin was a super responsive host. Anything we needed he was there to help. The place was gorgeous and in a really nice location. The unit was right next to the pool and tucked away from the main road. The pool was nice and it wasn't too crowded when we went. If you look really close you can see the ocean from the private balcony. Parking wasn't an issue for us. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Would 100% recommend staying here if you don't want to be right on the beach but close enough that it takes 3 minutes to drive the the beach access. Overall, this was the perfect place for our girls trip.
