Beach house vacation rentals in Duck

Our family had an absolutely fantastic time at this beach house! The location was perfect, near the beach, and the house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and amenities provided, making our vacation truly relaxing and enjoyable. The house was stocked with everything we needed, including chairs, and even a cooler. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and we loved the outdoor area with hot tub. We highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation experience. We will definitely be back!

Place was equipped with everything needed for preparing meals, beach time, and chill time in the home. Places to eat and stores within walking distance. Heated pool and hot tub were awesome for the kids! No complaints, nice people and nice home and nice area!

This was our first adventure to North Carolina and an adventure it was. Our first Airbnb didnt work out well with us, so late that first night we booked this home. It had been a long day and we were just ready to lay down. The kids were excited when they seen the house. They picked our their rooms and everyone got a boost of energy knowing we made the right decision moving to this house. Its so nice being by the water. My daughter caught lil shrimp in her net and my son tried out the fishing. The host were very responsive with their messaging. The house was clean and had everything labeled which made it nice. The decks to enjoy your views are so nice. I love seeing all the family pictures amd history they have around the home. You cam definitely tell it is a well loved home thats had some precise family times there. Glad we could add some of our own to this property. We had so many hiccups on this trip but finding this listing wasnt one of them. Thank you for the stay.

Our family had a great time at Ocenside Bliss. the views are spectacular and the location is perfect. The home had amenities suitable for our entire family ranging from ages 19 months to 76. Cyndi is a fabulous host. She is responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful views and easy access to the water. Good place with young children. (We had a toddler and a baby as part of our group.) The sitting area in the master suite was a great place to play board games and chat in the evenings without disturbing the little ones sleep. Great deck with sturdy chairs of the correct height to see the ocean over the railing. Lots of restaurants nearby and grocery stores and even a Target less than 2 miles away.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a fabulous location within a short bike ride to downtown Duck and the beach is a very short walk/bike down the street. The house is spacious and clean, and my kids loved the basketball court and that there were bikes to ride. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Overall great experience, we would come back and stay again.

It was exactly what I hoped for: very close to the beach, great location for a variety of natural sites , shops and restaurants , separate and private from nearby rentals, a good amount of space that was neither cluttered or too big, everything one would need in a kitchen. I especially liked the well-appointed and common sense decor, a range of games and toys available in drawers and cupboards. The art and sea related objects looked like they were both carefully chosen and represented the life of people who loved the place. I appreciated the availability of a shower downstairs, beach toys, beach towels, two different decks for sitting outside and being able to see the sky and the ocean. Besides being available, responsive and friendly, Katie was on top of everything that was needed and quick to come up with a solution when something needed maintenance. She responded quickly and was thoughtful about solutions. I am hoping to come back next year with my daughter and her family.

The location of this house is perfect! Right across the road from the beach. Close to everything (restaurants, grocery stores, activities) but far enough away to not hear the traffic from the busy main road. The house was clean and well organized. Like other reviewers mentioned, the floors upstairs are creaky; put your heavy sleepers in the downstairs bedroom. I also echo another reviewer’s suggestion of comfortable chairs on the upper deck. I missed the part of the listing that detailed that only one set of towels per person (1 large towel, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth) is provided for your entire stay (our family of 3 stayed Sun-Sat). The host/property manager was very responsive and provided two additional sets when I requested more. Guests should be prepared to utilize the washer/dryer in the home or bring their own. Perhaps an adjustment to this policy could be considered based on the length of stay? Overall, a wonderful home. I would recommend it.

We had the most amazing stay! Rebecca was extremely communicative and made sure we knew everything we needed to! The place looked exactly as pictures and was very clean. It was a short walk to the beach (about 5 minutes) and the private pool was so nice to come back to! We would absolutely stay at one of Rebecca’s houses again!

Beth Ann's house layout was great for our two families - the first and second floor are entirely standalone units with their own kitchen, front door and back door to the pool. We had privacy and were then all able to gather on the second floor to hang out. It's a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. The gas fireplace was a nice touch when it was chilly during our stay.

We absolutely adored this home! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The sound views was the cherry on top, especially the gorgeous sunset every evening. The condo itself was super clean and exceeded our expectations of cleanliness. We appreciated all the little extras the host made available and the bed was comfortable and restful. We cannot wait to come back and make a "Sound Decision" because it was a truly amazing stay! Thanks for hosting us!

Amber was a very responsive host who went above and beyond! The private pool, hot tub, and short walk to the ocean were so fun with kids. We also enjoyed the memory foam king-sized bed! So thankful for the private backyard - we even had deer come right in.

I would book this place again!! Was very clean and put together and looked just like the pictures. Neighborhood was private and walkable. Beach is less than a 5 minute walk! Highly recommend!!

Shawn was a good host and answered all my questions very fast and gave us accommodations. The place was very clean, perfect for our family and our dog! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Lisa’s place was the perfect beach getaway for our family. We loved being able to walk to the beach easily, sit out on the patio, eat meals in. She had everything we needed to make our trip seamless.

What a beautiful home just steps from the ocean. Our group of 8 high school friends had a great time and appreciated the beautiful accommodations. Bedrooms are varied and well-separated for privacy. Lots of doors to access to the rear deck, pool, hot tub, and beach. The kitchen is a gourmet's delight with a great selection of cookware and tableware. We would have appreciated a few more essentials in the kitchen and bathroom.

The bee hive was great! Perfect location, steps to the beach! It was just as described on the site. Really comfortable space, more than enough room for our group of 4. Great backyard for grilling. Wayne and Lynn were super helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and shops. They were very communicative from start to finish. We would definitely go back!

James was very responsive and quick to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The home is cute and quirky - looks just like the photos! The only thing that was confusing was that sheets and towels are not included in the listing. This was not immediately clear from the listing page. When we were told this a couple days before our trip, James was very accommodating, though, and helped us sort out the issue. All in all a very pleasant experience with a very nice front porch!

Loved our recent stay at this beach house! The location is great, very close to the beach but felt private and secluded (on a quiet street). We drove to the beach with all our stuff, but could have also walked. No issues with finding parking at the beach, although we were here off-season in September. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after a day at the beach (both inside and on the large deck). We grilled, had pizza delivered and drove a short distance to Duck for dinner a few nights. Had one rainy day where we enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch listening to music and playing games. Would recommend Laurie's place to anyone who enjoys charming beach houses (no bland, new build here): full of fun decorations, a spiral staircase and lots of charming personality!

It was the ideal retreat for our two families, with six children ranging in age from 3 to 13. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. There was ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The location was fantastic—just under five minutes’ drive to the beach and local shops, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by trees. It felt wonderfully private and serene. Cindy was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We were genuinely disappointed not to have booked for longer and will absolutely be returning in the future.

Great stay! Very clean cottage, very responsive host. Technically walkable to beach but short drive and park at public beach access was much easier with kids. Downstairs bar/games area was super fun! House gets a lot of shade so outdoor sitting/gaming stayed cool (almost too cool for our preseason April stay, but would probably be a nice reprieve on a hot day!) would recommend for a small family or couple. Ceiling fans in every room a nice plus. Ample paper products as well which we appreciated!

The property was perfect for our family spring break with teenagers. We had great access to the beach, a lovely time on the deck, and enjoyed the hot tub after exploring the surrounding areas. Would definitely book again.

The Relax Shack was perfect for our mini vacation with our dog! She especially loved the fully fenced yard to run in! The place was perfectly clean, and that couch was SO comfy! The house was stocked with anything we needed, and the listing was accurately advertised. The proximity to the beach, restaurants, and other things to do was perfect. The host was amazingly friendly and responsive as well. I would love to stay again!!

Had a great visit at this beach house for Easter. The place was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Super convenient location and only 1 block to the beach. Pictures on the listing matched exactly with the real home. Would absolutely stay here again.
