Monthly Rentals in Deer Island

We have traveled and stayed in Airbnb home from coast to coast and Alaska to Texas, even Luxury houses but of all of the places this had been our favorite. We have stayed at Bill and Sissy's twice and it is more than just another house, it is a home. So many resturants and things to do within an hour drive. We enjoyed the pool the lake and the home as much as everything else we did. I would recommend this place to anyone. We were blessed to be able to stay here, thank you Bill and Sissy for sharing your home with us.

From my very first email to Heather, until my last to let her know we left, Heather was the epitome of a gracious, kind and friendly host! Her place is exactly as described - but even more perfect. The neighborhood is gorgeous, the backyard a little oasis and as others have written, bed was so comfortable, it made it hard to want to get up. Mt. Dora was a complete surprise, with lovely restaurants, friendly people and charming people! We will definitely be back and would not hesitate to stay at Heather’s little slice of paradise. Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage with us and our fur babies! Can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay! I would highly recommend this cottage when visiting central Florida. The property is beautiful and although it was chilly during our time, if it would have been warmer we would have loved taking advantage of all the wonderful amenities. The animals on the property were a gift to my grands, they got to pet the goat and loved walking on the dock hopeful to see an alligator 😂 Miriam was a delightful host and very easy to communicate with and helpful when we needed anything.

We had such a wonderful stay at Susan's place! You can tell how much care and creativity she has poured into her space the moment you walk in. It is such a peaceful space. We enjoyed walking into Mount Dora along the railroad tracks. It wasn't a long stay for us and we didn't get to interact with Susan much at all but we felt very cared for. We're excited to visit again. Thank you!
