Wow!! Firstly what welcoming people Charles and Sally are. We were greeted with smiles, an informative tour of the Retreat and a plate of delicious home-made biscuits. The Retreat was spotlessly clean; the bed very comfortable and the little touches of chocatates and fruit a bonus! The garden.......Well! What a stunningly beautiful, peaceful and quirky haven! It would have been lovely just to sit on the verandah, watching and listening to the birdlife. Feeding the fairy wrens from our hand was just such a privilege. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation..... top notch and warmly welcoming hosts to boot.

Great place to relax and enjoy the peace. Very comfortable accommodation and everything was spotless.

We stayed at Petrina and Paul’s place for 4 days and 3 nights. The house was very cozy, lots of space for our crew of 3 adults and 3 children. There is a nice fireplace to keep the house warm when it gets chilly. There is a lot to do on the farm, fishing for big fish, fishing for small tadpoles, kayaking on the nearby river, swimming in the lake, feeding the animals (Donkeys and Alpacas) and taking a walk around the estate. The highlight for me was kayaking on the Warren river, it was very quiet and peaceful and you could kayak for ages just admiring the calmness and serenity of the place and being unplugged from city life and work. The hosts are an absolutely lovely couple. They were warm and welcoming and we were able to hear their wonderful stories about the farm. They also have a very sweet dog called Django who my 7 year old son loved to play with and wanted to take home! I would highly recommend this charming farm, an amazing experience with lots of fun things to do.

Lovely woodland retreat. Great spot for getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. Great walks around the lake and the veranda gives great views of the surrounding wood lands.
