Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Crescent City

Very nice place, in what looks like a developing neighborhood, didn’t have no kinds of problems my only thing was the door wouldn’t lock I wasn’t sure if the keypad was not working or what but every time I clicked on the lock button it wouldn’t lock. Besides that everything else was amazing I was there a lot but I did enjoy the balcony and the beds are comfy all the things I needed to explore brookings and some of California.

The place was exactly as advertised, very comfortable and clean, and met all expectations. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and a short walk to beach access. About a 7 minute drive to all of the restaurants and activities around the area. Check-in and check-out were very easy, without a giant laundry list of household stuff to do before checking out. Didn’t need much of anything from the host, but the one time I did message them they answered right away. My only knock is that the master bed was pretty uncomfortable; overly soft and no support. Wife and I both up with sore backs most mornings. But other than that, no complaints! Very comfortable and nice place overall.

Lovely place. Super comfortable and clean. Joyce was very thoughtful by organizing the kitchen with notes (with a list of contents) on every cabinet door and drawer. Felt cared for and attended to. You will be happy if you choose to stay there. Outdoor jacuzzi was a luxury !

We (3 families) had a great time at the house. The house is clean, and thoughtfully maintained. Location is also excellent, not only is it walking distances to stores and restaurants, it is also close to the ocean and the redwoods. Host was responsive and friendly. Will come back next time for sure.

We had a long drive down the coast ... and booked last minute en route. Our timing was perfect: We walked into the house to experience a glorious sunset over the sea. IF you like sunsets - and who doesn't! - this is the place for you! Though there are houses next to you and behind, when you're in the house, you feel as if your only neighbour is the sea, sky and sun.

The place was comfortable. I don’t know the max allowed but can comfortably accommodate 6. We were a group of 3 girls so we loved having 2 bathrooms. Clean place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was picture perfect with the ocean view. The amenities Lori provided were amazing and her kitchen is fully furnished with anything you could possibly need.

Wow, what a gorgeous home and most beautiful view on the coast. The owners have thought of every little detail and made our stay so memorable. Bookings is such a cute town and this house was close to town with shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed all the amenities at the house such as the theatre room, air hockey, exercise equipment, and exploring the black sand beach and all the creatures. We will definitely be back!

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

We have visited this property before and always enjoy the convenient beach access. Now that my husband is disabled, we appreciate the easy accessibility of the downstairs rooms. Susan was very attentive and took care of our needs promptly. I would certainly recommend staying here again when we return to the area.

We absolutely love the Sea Escape. we have returned many times, and have never been disappointed. This time we rented all 6 rooms to host family members to stay at for a destination wedding in the Redwoods. We had group meals at the picnic tables, with food cooked on the grills and in the rooms. We had all the cooking equipment, plates and silverware necessary for these meals. Susan was gracious, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back, as will our family members. This little gem is not fancy, but it is always clean, quiet, and welcoming. you can't beat the view, the beach access, and the proximity to the big trees.

Beautiful property with a gorgeous view! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The highlights were the sunsets on the porch, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, and walking down to the beach from the property. Hands down one of the best vacation experiences ever!
