Eureka vacation rentals

This place tops my list on the houses I have had the privilege to stay in. From the rustic wrap around porches to the beautiful custom kitchen. Everything about this home feels handcrafted. Definitely a labor of love that must have taken years. And I can’t forget to mention the outdoor space. I am far from an astrologer but the night sky up on top of this mountain without all the light pollution was breathtakingly awg inspiring. And with tons of hiking trails to explore there is never a dull moment. Lastly Matt the host I would have to say is what made our stay the best yet. With all his help from navigating us there to being flexible on our check in to even accommodating us another day last minute. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. I would definitely stay here again.

Heather and Eric’s home is beautiful and was the perfect spot to stay while visiting family in the area. Very private location and all the amenities you could need. The home is exactly as described and the hosts provided detailed instructions and recommendations of things to do while in the area. Next time we’re in the area we would definitely return to Heather and Eric’s home.

Karin’s gift for hospitality is unmatched, and we felt welcomed and cared for from the moment we made our reservation. She is kind, helpful, thoughtful, and just an all around lovely human. The space is a charming retreat with everything you need to relax and unwind among the peaceful big trees. The garden area is magical and a great place to enjoy a cup of tea, the kitchen is well equipped, and the whole space has a unique, cozy charm that has us already looking forward to our next stay. Karin was very kind to our dogs too, and enthusiastically welcomed them into her space. The surrounding area is a great location to connect with nature, whether you’re looking for time in the redwoods or on the beach, adventure, or relaxation, Trinidad is an ideal location. Everyone in town was friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the cafes, coffee shops, and art galleries.

I cannot say enough about how much my family enjoyed our stay at Joyce and Patrick's. Joyce was incredibly communicative beforehand and during. It is a beautiful, quiet neighborhood on a hill with views of trees as far as the eye can see. They generously stocked the fridge with milk, eggs and other family friendly foods. Joyce has a garden at her home next door and she brought us some delicious fresh lettuce. They had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The home is minutes from the Sequoia zoo which is a must if you'e in Eureka with your family. When we left early in the morning to go to the next part of our family roadtrip, my necklace, a family heirloom, dropped between bed and although I looked, I missed it. Joyce reached out to me and graciously certified it and sent it back to me. I will be forever grateful for her and Pat's kindness and hospitality. When we go back to Eureka, this is definitely where we'll stay!

This is a majestic, comfortable, well appointed space! It was as described and no real complaints other than a wish to stay longer. Next time!

This location was the most beautiful of all the Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. The sunsets and starry skies were amazing and you never get tired of waking up to that view. A cozier couch would have been nice on the rainy days we had, but I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and great location. Everything you would need is there. Fenced in yard for our dog was great. Located close to all kinds of places-shopping, restaurants etc.

We had a lovely stay to visit our daughter at the university. Close to plaza and supermarket. Exactly as described. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

We love staying with Mona! The house is clean and efficient, and perfectly located for walking around downtown Arcata. We like to cook some meals in, and the kitchen is supplied and set up to make that easy - and there are a couple grocery stores with ready-to-eat meals just a couple blocks away. Beds are comfortable and the area is quiet. Mona and Jeff are EXTREMELY responsive to any questions or issues that come up. We are fans!
