Vacation rentals in Arcata

Had a lovely time in Arcata. Ruby’s place is situated in a great spot, walkable to downtown destinations as well as Humboldt campus. Everything in the apartment was just like described. Felt like home. Despite being above the restaurant, it feels private and no noticeable restaurant noise.

This was an awesome stay. We are more than pleased with the chickens/roosters. If you like peace and quiet you will love this place to stay!!!!

Erik was lovely to work with and was great about checking in on us and sending us info, local recommendations, etc ahead of time. Had a great stay. House was perfect for our family of 4.

This is our 2nd visit to Lala’s house and we were so impressed. Lala has thought of everything, from the well stocked kitchen to the raincoats and cooler for picnics, we had everything needed to make my family’s stay comfortable. It is conveniently located just 30 minutes from the redwoods which is my favorite place on earth ❤️ Lala communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure all our needs were met. We will definitely be staying at this home again, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location was great- very close to downtown overlooking the bay. Amazing bathtub and comfortable room. The main bed is very soft (be aware if you need a firmer mattress) and the kitchen is well appointed. Appreciate leaving creamer and coffee for the guests!

Very comfortable house equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen and bath supplies - including spices, ziploc bags, paper towels, tissues, laundry soap, lotion, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Nearby Mad River Beach was a beautiful place to visit and a very nice drive! Gas and groceries very close by too.

Erin's place was adorable! The decor was cute and inviting. Our dogs loved the private yard. Erin was very communicative, giving detailed instruction about arrival, and we felt welcome the moment we walked in. It is worth mentioning that the bed is really tall. If you're vertically challenged, like me, you might need a boost. It's very comfy once you're up there though. I'd gladly stay at Erin's place again!

Amy's place is ideally located for walking everywhere in Arcata. just blocks from the Plaza, Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary, grocery and other stores, and a walkable distance to Cal Poly Humboldt and Arcata's Redwood Park. The house itself is cozy and pleasant, with plenty of space inside, and a very inviting outdoor seating area for nice days. The beds are very comfy, the shower is great, and all house systems are in excellent working order. Love the big, fluffy towels! Amy was very welcoming and helpful, proactively sending all the info we needed. Getting in was a snap, and checkout was a breeze. We very much hope to stay again on future visits. Highly recommend!!!

Nice little farmhouse on a private lane. Beautiful views. Comfortable beds. Just as described.

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. The cabin itself is quaint, charming and quiet. It’s cozy and has everything you need. The neighborhood has a great grocery store & deli, and at the end of the street are trails through a magical Redwood Forest. I never wanted to leave!

Such a comfortable, clean, spacious space to rest and settle into after a very long day of driving. Close to Hwy 101 and not far from restaurants and the harbor area, but a little up a hill to catch some views of the ocean and bay in the distance. Very dog friendly and the basket of treats was so nice. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. Tania was an excellent Host and we were so thankful to find her rental for our one night stay!

We had a quick but memorable stay at this very comfortable home five minutes from Moonstone Beach. The jacuzzi, outdoor shower, slide, and picnic tables give the yard an extra layer of spacious comfort. The sauna inside was also a nice treat. We travelled with our dog and she particularly appreciated the "House-Kong" (chew toy where we put the treats). We will be back for surfing next time!

Heather’s place is exceptional. Heather and Mike are very friendly and responded immediately to our needs. Their home is beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable (and extremely clean!) We loved the very well-equipped kitchen, the comfy beds and walk-in showers. In addition to the 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, there is a 3rd bedroom for kids with 2 twin beds that is adorable. Then there are the best washing machines and dryers! This home is in a neighborhood that feels unusually safe and peaceful. We would love staying here again if ever in the area!

Perfect location and super cozy! My family had a great stay with our 1 year old and our puppy. The location could not have been better and the home was well appointed, comfy, and very clean. Chris and Charlie promptly responded to an issue we were having with the WiFi one night and helped us out. Thanks Chris and Charlie!
