Chalet vacation rentals in Costa Rica

Casas Jaguar is absolutely stunning! The place is close to town but very quiet, with onsite security guard and closed gate so we felt super safe. The view is breathtaking - more beautiful and peaceful than any of the viewpoints we visited in Monteverde. We honestly just wanted to stay in the house and soak it all in. We saw toucans, parrots, hummingbirds, and many other gorgeous birds right outside the window. The hosts clearly care deeply about their home and the beautiful nature around it. They also were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and absolutely went above and beyond to help us with an emergency. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at Amalu for three nights in mid-February 2025. We stayed in Glass Cabin Number one, and the view was west-facing and stunning. You had views all the way to the Pacific Ocean and a perfect view of sunset every night. You're so high up that you can feel the winds blowing in the day and through the night, but it only adds to the mountaintop experience as you're warm and snug in your perfectly appointed glass house. The units have a kitchenette and come stocked with perfect food essentials provided by the host. There are spa waffle robes and slippers and a telescope for stargazing and bird watching. The hot tub outside on the deck is amazing for relaxing at night. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. If we needed anything at all, it was just a message away.

Beautiful home taken care of with love that is felt in every detail. We will be back.

Great find in Cahuita. We are a family of four and this place was huge with 3 big bedrooms + 3 full baths & a large living/dining room & kitchen. Large outdoor area to boot! Yard is filled with flowering shrubs & tall trees providing much needed shade from the powerful Costa Rican rays. The hot tub is more of a cool tub (approx 88 degrees) but that is just what we needed after spending hours in ocean surf getting baked by the sun. The outdoor shower is a nice touch for a quick cool down. Lots of animals to see in the yard too of which the monkeys & geckos were the most fascinating to me & our kids. Approx 8 min walk to entrance to Cahuita Nat’l Park. 10 min walk to edge of town. Tons of different beaches to choose from! Shelley is uber accommodating with any thing that needs attention at the house. Overall a great spot for a chill time in Cahuita. Live slow & Pura Vida!

Incredible home and location on the east coast of the nicoya pennisula in Costa Rica. Adventerous sand drive up requiring 4x4, awesome pool and nice accomadation. Only problem with Montezuma is how hot it is there all the time, but the fans and pool helped ameliorate the heat for the cool location.

Last minute reservation , I was visiting my grandparents from USA .I wanted to travel my beautiful Costa Rica and experience something different - we found Pamela's cabin. The location and the view was everything I wanted. amazing sunset view ,the peace that nature brings did it all , Pamela's cabin is fully equipped with everything including washer and dryers -towels , bbq and even condiments to cook. The cabin is only 10 min away from the little downtown. My grandparents had an amazing time and we made unbelievable memories. Thank you from The Castro family 💕💕💕

The place is spacious and comfortable. Everything you need. It is about a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach. Aurelie was on top of everything we needed. Thank you very much!

While I only stayed one night, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The home exceeded my expectations. The location is wonderful and the home was very modern and the jacuzzi was a great addition. They really did well with the place! I plan to visit again in the near future and intend to rent the home again if given the opportunity.

Raquel's place was only one stop after landing in San José, but what a joy to wake up in this setting: this view, this nature!! Raquel was very responsive, and we highly recommend her!! Too bad we couldn't stay longer
