Evegate Manor Barn

SophieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay! The location is fantastic and Dave’s recommendation of the little pub The Dog House was a great one. A short 1minute walk and you’re there in a great atmosphere with great food. The barn is filled with every necessity you could need. It’s warm and cosy. The Christmas tree was a great touch and made us feel at home. The hot tub was fab. We would definitely come back again, next time in the summer so we can use the pool.

Violet Corner at Footpath Cottages, Reynolds Farm

SueRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Perfect little staycation! We rented violet corner for 2 days, we had a chilled couple of days in the hot tub, visiting the local beaches, great location and everything you need for a relaxing visit! We tried the on-site breakfast on the last day, the hosts were very accommodating and the full English breakfast was nice, we look forward to coming back. Thank you x

Thoroughly thoroughly recommend! The property is beautiful! It has everything you want and need! We were 11 adults and managed to fit in comfortably. The beach is a very short stroll away and it was a lovely walk in the mornings. Emmy is fantastic! Incredibly responsive. Oh and the hot tub is brilliant - we had it on even though it was mid December. Thank you Emmy for a fab stay!

Daweswood - Luxury countryside cottage, lake & tub

GeorginaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
WOW! Do not hesitate to book! The house is just fantastic and just as the photos show - beautifully presented and a stunning place to stay. Allister was the most incredible host, he went above and beyond for us with assistance and extra requirements. Allister responded promptly and helpfully to all queries and questions. We could not have asked for a better house, location or host. Simply Fantastic. It was the perfect place and a short drive to Whitstable which was a great place to visit. We added on the hot tub to the booking and it was pristine and clearly cleaned. A wonderful find and could not recommend more highly. Huge thanks to Allister for everything.

The Stable Cottage on beautiful farm

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great couple of days at Stable Cottage! Rainy and windy outside….lovely and cosy inside! The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed. Great dog walks and to have the enclosed garden for the woofers was a bonus! The Plough (just up the road) is recommended for a delicious lunch!) Louise was a great host. Quick response to messages and really helpful on arrival. Thank you for having us!!x

comfortable 2 bedroom terraced cottage

NancyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sadly this is our last stay at Allis’ wonderful home due to it being sold. My brother and myself use it to come visit our elderly Mother and have been made more than welcome every time. Alli leaves lots of personal touches like selections of biscuits , different tea bags to try. Even a pint of milk and a loaf of bread awaits you. We wish Alli & family all the best in their new adventures. Thank you for making our stay’s so welcoming and comfortable. Nancy & Ashley.

Rural Cottage in grounds of Grade II* Farmhouse

JaniceRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We would like to say a big thank you. We had a fantastic weekend stay at this property. The garden was 100% safe for our dog and we found it nice and quiet, surrounded by nature and orchards. Mark had left lots of leaflets showing what's going on in the area, and was very kind to recommend places to visit and eat/drink. The accommodation was designed and decorated with alot of thought and attention to detail, to establish a very comfortable stay. We will certainly be visiting again.

Beautiful 15th Century Cottage

PaulRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Perfect! Pheasant Cottage was just what we were looking for, it met our needs perfectly. It was really interesting to read a little of the history of the cottages too, so characterful. Our time here was thoroughly enjoyed, with long walks from the door and always the cottage to look forward to coming back to. The fireplace is sensational and we made good use of it. All the facilities we needed were supplied and there was a spirit of generosity, thoughtfulness and kindness from our host Tess, always very responsive and considerate, but never intrusive. If ever you get the opportunity to stay at Pheasant Cottage, do it, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Shelley Beach

FionaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
An excellent, very well equipped house in a really quiet location. Lots of space for 4 adults. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, good knives, chopping boards etc. We were also welcomed with some awesome cupcakes which were delicious. There was also milk in the fridge and some teabags. They have a cafetière! Yay! The main bathroom is off one of the bedrooms, this could be a tiny bit awkward for some. Bath and shower are both very good. House is a very short walk to the beach and into the middle of Deal. We loved eating at Deal Pier Kitchen and also at The Lane in town. We had a splendid break here and would definitely return.

Perfect Isolation. Quaint Sussex Farm Cottage

JuliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perfect! We chose this cottage for its quiet and private setting and because it looked lovely in the listing. It really delivered, such a gorgeous, warm, cosy and comfortable home for the two of us and our dog for a week’s winter break. Our dog loved the freedom, no fences, no livestock nearby (when we were there), just a few pheasants and footpath walks from the doorstep, plus a log fire to curl up in front of in the evenings. The house is private and secluded, sheltered by a few trees, but with great views across the fields. The bed was super comfy and the house is well equipped including plenty outdoor furniture, parasol, sun loungers, and BBQ for summer. It is all very close to Rye, only 5 mile drive and Jempsons, a great supermarket, is in the village. There is loads to see and do locally, beach side coffee shops, National Trust properties, even in winter, vineyards, pubs and beautiful Rye. We’ve had a really great holiday and a big rest, thank you very much Bridget, great job!

Walnut Tree Cottage - beautiful gardens!

NeilRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Great cottage in a beautiful location. Garden, and the snowdrops were stunning. The only downside was the very low ceilings. Anyone of average height is likely to hit their head on the beam in the kitchen. This was mentioned in other reviews, and expected in an old cottage, but was not mentioned in the description.

Sissinghurst Cottage lovely countryside walks

CeliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a very enjoyable stay in Studio Cottage which was clean, comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and a very welcome welcome basket was left! We enjoyed the sweet treats. Sissinghurst has a pub/restaurant, an excellent fish and chip shop and a shop which has to be seen to be believed! There are some lovely walks locally as well as castles and gardens. Jackie has provided comprehensive information in her guide. We would certainly recommend the cottage. Thank you.

Charming, peaceful cottage by Sissinghurst Castle.

DianeRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The location surpassed my expectations. It is a pleasant walk through the woods to Sissinghurst. The view from the cottage is just splendid and full of nice spots to sit and read or enjoy the landscaped garden nestled in the woods. The cottage is simple and close to the main house but with a private patio, perfect for a breakfast al fresco. The hosts were generous and very responsive.
