Lake house vacation rentals in Charleston

David’s place was great- spacious, bright, and comfy. We would definitely stay there again!

This is a lovely home on a very peaceful, beautiful serene property. The home is spacious and great for a family gathering with lots of seating and a large dining table. It would’ve been nice to have had the ability to have places to walk to, but there is much to do within a short drive. The road out front is a busy road with no sidewalk.

First time visiting Mt Pleasant, and our host Lori was fantastic and attentive to all of our needs. Our rental was very clean and so cutely decorated with romantic southern charm. We had everything we needed during our stay thanks to Lori. Hopefully on our future trips to Mt. Pleasent she'll have a room available, I'll always check with her first. Needless to say, the location could not have been better, we were so close to everything, grocery stores, restaurants, Patriots point, the beaches...this location has it all. If I could give her a 10/10 here I would!

We had a great stay here! The house is beautiful and well maintained. Our daughter loved the backyard and getting visits from a goose. The location is perfect. We were under 10min to downtown and 15min to Folly Beach. We could also walk to a nice coffee shop and a few restaurants, one of which became our favorite from the trip. The Harbor View Rd (in which the house is located) can get a bit busy but there's no stop-in traffic, so it still felt very peaceful inside the house and the backyard. We'd love to come back again!

The house was perfect for us. We have 4 adult children and we all stayed and slept very comfortably. Beautiful home with everything you need. Very close to Sullivan Island, Shem Creek and downtown Charleston. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Natalia for sharing your home.

Laura was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had all the amenities during our stay. She was very quick to respond and ensured any issue was handled quickly. I would certainly recommend her for anyone interested to book at her house. My family and I felt at home and really enjoyed our stay! Laura is a lovely lady!

My husband and I loved this place on Goose River Reservoir. I picked it because it was on the water. It was peaceful and relaxing on the enclosed back deck. It is close to great stores and eateries. About 20minutes to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. There is plenty for kids to do at the house. The Master bed was comfy and warm. Shower was awesome. What I liked: The house felt warm and cozy. I liked being on the river and listening to the bugs, squirrels and birds. We loved being on the back deck relaxing and drinking our coffee. House rules were not overbearing, but to just clean up after yourself, no dirty dishes left in the sink, take out trash and bring the towels down to the washer. I tried to sweep, but I didn't find a broom. I spilt coffee grinds, but was able to clean it up. Communication with the owners was great and quick response! We really enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Excellent location for sightseeing. Close to the highway and shopping. The birds are incredible. We hade a wonderful stay. Thank so much. Terry
