Beach house vacation rentals in Charleston

My spouse and I enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The pool and hot tub is amazing. We loved the garage and playing ping pong. The kitchen has everything you need and is very clean. The living area and front room are beautiful. Kristin and Bob put a lot of thought on the details and made the home feel welcoming. We enjoyed being so close to the beach access and only being 8 blocks from the pier. The restaurants are amazing, Catch 23 was a fav. Don’t forget to go by McKelvin’s Surf Shop! Folly Beach is beautiful and peaceful, we would love to stay again in the home. Kristin was great communicating with me and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying in this home.

This house was perfect for our family gathering. Walking to the beach was easy & close. We all loved our time in the pool. We rented a golf cart & that was more fun & functional than a rental car. John was easy to communicate with. I appreciate his flexibility with our requests.

This place is amazing! Even better than advertised. It's stocked with everything you need to keep a full house entertained on vacation, and access to the beach plus IOP restaurants/grocery/coffee is perfect. We went to the beach every day and enjoyed the pool every afternoon. It's also pristine - clearly Nick has taken care of this property and there were no issues with anything at the house during our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is a beautiful house. It’s so roomy. There were 6 of us and never once did we feel on top of each other and all had our own place to sleep. Everything was very clean. There’s fun local places near by to visit/eat at. The beach is a pretty short walk away (they also had bikes in the garage). It’s peaceful outside. We really enjoyed the huge hot tub. You can’t go wrong booking this place!

Loved this beach town and location was perfect! Host was very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. Would love to come back one day!

Jayne’s home was fantastic. It was spacious, inviting, and had all of the amenities you could ask for. While we didn’t get a chance to use the pool because of the very cold weather, the pool looked absolutely incredible and would be perfect on a warmer day. The location of the home was also very close to the beach. I could not imagine a more relaxing environment in which to spend time in Kiawah. I hope to return in the future!

Value was great. Home was even nicer in person than in the pictures which was a welcome surprise! They really thought of everything to make you feel at home. Full dishes, pots and pans, AND kids dishes. Comfortable beds, amazing front/back porches, and a short walk to the beach. House was spotless upon check-in and communication was great - always proactive, and also quick to answer texts with quality information when we had questions about the area! Tons of beach stuff for the whole family was provided, books and toys for the little ones, as well. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay and great service from AvantStay. Can't wait to get back down there!

Great house, nice and quiet location! Walk to the beach was straight up the road and lots to do around us!

We absolutely loved Maryellen’s home! The pier, restaurants and shopping are walking distance. More amenities than what’s listed. The home is pristine and just like the photos. It felt like we were the first ones to ever stay there! We had gorgeous weather so we spent most of our time outside, but the home is the kind of place where you wish for a rainy day, to be forced to enjoy and relax at home. Would most certainly stay again :)

If you’ve seen the photos you know this is an extraordinary place to vacation. The pool, boardwalk, and beach access alone are amazing. On top of that michael was the perfect host. Always fast to respond to questions and give advice about our outings. We loved the trip.

Sunday, April 20, 7:54 AM Here's the review: What a wonderful stay for a 50th celebration! The hosts were extremely communicative and accommodating, the house was beautiful with many wonderful amenities, and the bed was just like the one we have at home! It was a relaxing stay that I would love to do again in the future.

This Isle of Palms property was exactly what we were hoping for! The location couldn't be better - literally steps from the beach with gorgeous views and close to some great restaurants. The home was incredibly comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sarah was responsive, helpful, and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to departure. We also appreciated several personalized touches for our stay. Being able to walk straight onto the beach made our vacation truly special. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway on Isle of Palms! We hope to return back someday.

Great house, close to beach which makes it easy with kids and dog friendly which was perfect with this being our dogs first trip to the beach.

This place was fantastic! Super close to shops and restaurants as well as beach access. The house was clean and well furnished with plenty of space for a large group. The Boroughs were helpful and easy to work with. We felt like we could walk in and start our vacation right away...everything was awesome! PS, try the restaurant right across the street. Great music and delicious crab cakes :)

Perfect place to stay! The open kitchen/dining/family room was fantastic! Bathroom for every bedroom was a must for our family. A second den space upstairs was great for the younger children to play. Only negative, only 2 parking spots. The Town of Kiawah needs to provide additional parking for residents/renters.

Seth’s place was exactly as advertised. Comfortable and spacious. Three bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths was perfect for our family. Full kitchen with large dining room table, and plenty of couches and chairs. It was easy to find, and walking distance to the beach. Beach towels and chairs were available, which was a fabulous bonus. We used the August app as a virtual house key, and it was super easy.

This is our second time staying at Bob's place and our family loves it. The view of the marsh from the living spaces is such a wonderful part of our enjoyment of the home. We spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the marsh and water. The bedroom configurations are perfect for our family and the kitchen is well stocked.

We had a wonderful stay in Suzanne's home. We walked to the beach and to the IOP Rec center to visit the playground with our toddler. Suzanne had great recommendations and responded right away when needed. Would love to visit again, the next time we are in town

We had an excellent stay here. The house was very cozy and comfortable - especially the top patio, which was perfect for enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine. We loved the proximity to the beach and to downtown Isle of Palms!

Beautifully appointed cottage and extremely communicative hosts with super clear instructions. We were even greeted with a sweet treat and bottle of wine. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pura Vida was great for us! I was traveling with two teenaged grandchildren and two of their friends, and my two year old grandson. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together or to have some space to themselves. Lots of options for everyone to do! Unfortunately (or fortunately) we never figured out how to use the tv effectively or the DVD player, but honestly, I think that was for the best! It’s a nice walk to the beach, and you can hear the ocean while hanging out in the yard or on the porch.
