Monthly Rentals in Caye Caulker

Absolutely Loved our stay! From start to finish everything was amazing! Mrs. Cecilia help arrange a taxi to pick us up from the ferry, allowed us to check in early, had a great little cafe with excellent food on the premises which we indulged in a few times! When it was time to go, she allowed us to hang out after check out, eat & play darts until our next place was available, even offered us a ride there so we didn’t have to drag our luggage down the road. The space was great, right by the pristine pool, perfect way to wind down in the afternoon. WiFi was the best we have had on the islands. Shower was hot with great water pressure, another amenity that’s not often available on the island. Bed was very comfy with very soft sheets and blankets. The staff are so very welcoming, every one was so nice and the family dogs came to visit us everyday. This little gem is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of centro (15-20 min walk/10 min bike ride). Highly recommend, would 100% return.

The one bedroom cabana was well equipped for a longer stay. It was comfortable and had easy access to the pool and deck, which are shred with 3 other cabanas. Our host, property manager and cleaner were all responsive and quick to fix any problems. A new bbq was added while we were there giving us a great way to prepare the fresh seafood found locally. The location is a short walk from the centre of the village, close enough for easy access to the many great restaurants and bars, but far enough out to avoid the bustle of the tourist area. Caye Caulker is a laid back community with a mix of locals, snowbirds and short term visitors. Beaches are a bit limited, but one soon finds a swimming hole that suits them. We would recommend Tropical Dreams to anyone looking for a good base from which to explore the island.

Amanda’s place was as described. Very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It was walkable to all restaurants and the Split but far enough away from most of the noise. The wraparound porch was nice, with comfy outdoor furniture. Comfortable bed. Amanda was very responsive and friendly yet did not invade our privacy

We loved our stay at Mo's Cozy Cabana. It was perfect for what we wanted to do. We easily became "regulars" while also finding a nice daily routine. Getting a handle on the temperature & AC controls is definitely key (not only F vs. c.). Our one meal at The Wish Willy was an added positive experience , and it was comforting to see his patrons come every night he was open for dinner. Both Monique & Maurice were great at giving advice on things to see & do about town - even though we stuck to the Sip & Dip or Iguana Reef most days.
