A Retreat on Hove Seafront, Close to Brighton Fun

This is a newly converted, modern, well equipped, ground floor apartment, with private entrance, fully equipped kitchen, contemporary living room, comfortable king bedroom and large shower room. Private parking (for one car) is available upon request and by prior arrangement - requiring a residents parking permit - charged at £5 per day. We are located in Hove, on the seafront, a short walk to local cafes, restaurants, bars, parks and other amenities. You can walk into Brighton along the seafront (3km), although buses are frequent and taxis are easily available. Please note that, whilst we are located on the Hove seafront, there are no sea views from the ground floor apartment itself. Inside the apartment, you can enjoy: - comfortable, modern furniture throughout, including new king bed, mattress & bedding, leather l shaped sofa, breakfast table & stools and lots more. - generous and high quality kitchen equipment, including Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine and lots more. - other useful house gadgets, including hairdryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and lots more. - games & books - high speed broadband wifi - XL Samsung Smart television, with Netflix, NowTV & AmazonPrime - Philips Hue coloured lighting This is a self contained, private apartment, with a separate entrance, albeit within a larger family home (although you are unlikely to ever see anyone). We are available if necessary, to answer any questions and sort any issues, although keys are made available via a "key safe" with private code. The apartment is nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Hove, a walk from local cafes, restaurants, bars and parks. The buzzing centre of Brighton is 3 kilometres away for shopping, entertainment, and vibrant nightlife. It's a beautiful seafront walk into Brighton, although buses are frequent and taxis are easily available. This self contained, private apartment, is located within a larger family home (although you are unlikely to ever see anyone). We do not allow unauthorised guests to sleep over and we do not allow large parties or events.

Modern self contained annex (own entrance), fabulous views of the sea & South Downs National Park. Ovingdean is a 15 minute walk to the beach, regular buses into Brighton. 10 mins by car. The annex comprises fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining / lounge area with a smart tv. There is fast wifi and the space acts as a very comfortable workspace. Double bed on mezzanine (accessed via ladder) and sofa bed in lounge. Welcome breakfast, coffee, tea provided. Pets welcome and parking available.

We had a lovely stay at this place! Julia and Russell were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and responsive. Julia went out of her way to accomodate us during our stay. We were very impressed by how well designed the unit is, which makes excellent use of the space. It is very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The neighbourhood is peaceful and picturesque, and we found it easy to get to the city and Brighton beach by bus. Thank you again!

I recently booked Michael's Airbnb for my uncle's birthday, and I couldn't have asked for a better host! From the moment I booked, Michael was incredibly helpful. He provided excellent local parking information, which made our arrival seamless. The WiFi was reliable, which was a huge plus for us. To top it all off, Michael provided with breakfast options that added a special touch to our stay. His hospitality truly made the experience memorable. I highly recommend staying at Michael's place if you're looking for a fantastic host and a welcoming environment. A solid 5 stars!

Sure! Here's a refined version of your review while keeping your tone and personal experience intact: Super cozy loft room!! The space was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated with charming little artifacts and all the essentials provided. It was very easy to find, thanks to the clear instructions. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and close to bus stops. Sam was a fantastic host: friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The only minor downside was that the private bathroom wasn't en suite; it was adjacent to the room. Still, it was private and clean, so not a major issue for us. We were truly impressed by how well the house was kept, and staying in a loft room with a lovely view made it a unique experience. Highly recommend also planning a trip to the Seven Sisters—just about an hour from Brighton and absolutely breathtaking with its cliffside views.

I booked last minute and received a wonderful welcome from Babs :) Her home is beautiful, lovely bedroom , very comfy bed, lovely linen, spotlessly clean, well situated on a quiet residential street , just a block from lively Lewes road which has plenty restaurants/coffeeshops/bars as well as good bus connections ! Babs also provides complimentary tea/coffee , continental breakfast with fruit and yoghurt , which was an unexpected treat, she truly deserves the superhost accolade! I will gladly return in the future and would happily recommend Thanks Babs !!

Annie was friendly and chatty. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Tea making facilities was available in the bedroom. The Wi fi was very good. The bathroom which was close by, was clean and tidy, and the shower was easy to use. The cost of my stay was very reasonable. The area was residential and quiet and 10-15 minute walk to the seafront. The buses to Brighton are frequent. I would definitely consider staying again, when visiting the area.

Kate’s apartment was perfect for our weekend girls trip. Clean, comfy and cute! You cannot beat the location, 2 mins from the station and less than 10 mins to the lanes, but surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. Kate was also an amazing host and we appreciated her!! We will definitely be back!

I picked Lesley's place as it was a ten minute walk to Preston Park. Our son was running in the Brighton marathon and the run begins there. The flat was lovely. It had absolutely everything we needed for our weekend stay. It's quiet and peaceful and it was great to have a garden to enjoy the sunshine. Brighton Pavilion and The Lanes were a 34/40 minute walk away but there's also a bus stop at the end of the road with a frequent service into town so it's easy to get around withouta car. 🙂 Lesley was a great host - very responsive to queries and generous and thoughtful too. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Brighton.
