An absolutely beautiful spot with the most accommodating host! Emma really goes the extra mile to ensure you have everything. There was a beautiful little welcome basket, fresh milk and water in the fridge. Emma really has thought about everything, from the guide to the local walks, places to visit, to having all of the necessary amenities for a home from home stay, even down to washing tablets for the washing machine! A really lovely spot to stay, we will be back! See you in a couple of weeks 😊

My daughter and I had an amazing few days here and Isabel was so helpful before our arrival and whilst we stayed. The welcome pack including local fresh bread and quality chocolate were lovely touches. The studio was a really luxurious place to stay, yet also very homely. Lighting the fire and sweeping the ash the next morning brought back wonderful childhood memories of my Nana’s house. Despite not being far from home, we both managed to relax, enjoyed being creative with our hobbies and explored some of the surrounding countryside, local villages and Stamford. The Blonde Beet for lunch was recommended by Isabel and it did not disappoint us. The food was so wonderful. Watching the little lambs and walking amidst the snowdrops through the little wood on the estate, helped us relax even more. On our second evening it was exciting being able to prepare a meal for my husband and other daughter who were working and they joined us for the evening. It was really special. Thanks Isabel.

We had a wonderful stay in Buttercup lodge. The lodges are done to an incredibly high standard in a beautiful location. It was lovely looking out at the various wildlife in the field each day. Sue was a fantastic host, ensuring that we had everything that we needed. Cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you.

A perfect stay! I don’t think the photos did the place justice and it was lovely and cosy. We had everything we needed for a relaxed weekend in the countryside and Gayle was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely come again!
