Cosy cottage feel, spotless, beautiful garden and view of rolling hills, lovely touch to have croissant and orange juice and yoghurt/granola for breakfast. Convenient location to break up our drive up the A1, and less than 10 minute drive to Belton Estate (National Trust) which had good adventure playground for our daughter. We'll be back!

Had a really lovely weekend here - the photos really don't do it justice. Everything is immaculate, and finished to the highest spec. The weather was pretty bleak, but even so the views are wonderful and I can imagine that staying here when you can use the patio and the barbecue would be lovely. It may have been cold, but we made full use of the hot tub, which was a real bonus. The bathrooms are spacious and very well fitted out, and the beds are really comfortable. There is underfloor heating - Sue explained that this does take a while to get up to temperature, but once it does, the whole place was beautifully warm, especially with the modern woodburner in the corner. We definitely would return - Sue has thought of everything - and the welcome pack, with cake, biscuits and milk - was a lovely touch! Thank you so much!

Very peaceful location, perfect for some peace and quiet. Just make sure you bring provisions as no local shops in walking distance.
