We had a room in fantastic house. Beautiful interior with 19th-century-style furniture. It creates cozy atmosphere. Filippo is very welcoming and friendly - helped a lot with local recommendations. Also lovely breakfast is included (I would recommend to try porridge).

Just the most beautiful old house - gorgeous art nouveau style original features, tiled floors, palatial sized bedrooms. Filippo was lovely. We adored Bologna and this house is ideally situated; Filippo also sent a list of recommended restaurants which served us very well. Breakfast at the house was great too. We felt incredibly lucky to be staying in such an amazing place.

4Gatti is a very special place. It's a lovingly restored Art Nouveau house in a grand, leafy street close to one of the gates into the old city. It has a fin de siècle /1970s hippy vibe and I would have been happy hanging out there for several weeks, months even, watching other interesting guests come and go and making myself at home in the kitchen, living rooms and garden as one is encouraged to do. Filippo and his assistants couldn't have been more gracious, generous or helpful when we needed them. It was a holiday and an experience in itself, quite apart from our excursions into Bologna.

We had a great stay at Cà Palazzo Malvasia, an old villa with lovingly and classily furnished and spacious rooms, indirect and dimmable light, very cozy bed, large bathroom as well as delicious and varied breakfast. Everything was very clean. Getting there in the evening was not so easy because our navigation first misdirected us (only enter house no. 19, not 19/2), but fortunately someone was available by phone and helped us in a very friendly way. However, it is difficult to reach without a car. Everything worked out great in the house with the check-in and lockbox system. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

I stayed here with my wife and our two children. The B&B-style accommodations (bedroom and bathroom + common room and kitchen for leisure/meals) are tidy, high-quality, and characteristic. The location is very quiet and surrounded by greenery (the children loved the large garden available to run around and play a little after returning from the more "touristy" tours), a half-hour drive from Bologna and its surroundings. Room and kitchen complete with every need, and the breakfast included in the price is good and plentiful. The staff has always been cordial and friendly, as well as able to provide valuable advice regarding visits to the area. Fully satisfied with our stay here! :)

We were passing through from Italy towards Germany and stopped at Rambaldo's accommodation. The scenery around it was beautiful! We slept very comfortably even though it was a bit noisy at night and in the morning in the room Loredana. It was great that we could use the kitchen and cook something in the evening. The woman who prepared us breakfast was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was a bit monotonous but we were happy about the offer. We would come again in the summer! Great value for the money!

pros>We booked through this listing for a family of 3, we didn't stay in this exact apartment, but in another with two bedrooms. The Quercia is old nice villa, we were just for one night so we couldn't see the park in a daylight, however it should be magnificent. The apartment we stayed (N5) is well maintained and very comfortable. Great old-style thick cotton linen. cons/suggestions>The painful overdetailed survey requested to fill-in prior to check-in could be simplified drastically. We haven't met anybody from the hosting part personally, but they were always responsive, however from management point of view it's quite chaotic. We were provided with superdetailed instructions to check-in that leave you the feeling you're entering a military underground base, however it was pretty straightforward even in the evening. The kitchen could be better equipped and managed (new pots/pans ) In the morning the sink was full of other guests' used tableware that wasn't a pleasant view.
