Monthly Rentals in Blackboys

I had a lovely month or so remote working here. While it is a small space, there is a nice private patio looking onto a lovely garden. And I very much enjoyed seeing Spring emerge and listening to the birdsong in the morning. All good! Just a few points for other remote workers who might fancy a stay: the area is quiet for there are no noise problems with online meetings, there are plenty of electric sockets, and the internet was good. In Lewes, there were plenty of cafes where you could work too, if you want a change of scene.

I stayed here with 2 others for a short city break, and had a lovely, peaceful week of rest and relaxation. Christy's place was homey, warm and spotlessly clean. Christy was very responsive and kindly dropped off her set of kitchen scales after work so I could do a bit of baking. We were provided with a generous amount of firewood for the toasty log burner, and enjoyed the expansive variety of DVDs, boardgames and jigsaw puzzles. I also appreciated the in-depth welcome folder with info on local history and walks, and manuals for all the appliances (we were a big fan of the coffee machine!). The velux windows in all the rooms and hallway were the highlight of my stay, and I would love to stay again when the weather is clearer to do a bit of stargazing and enjoy the expansive annex secret garden and local walks. 😊 The stay was truly perfect, and I am already missing it dearly! Thank you for being such a lovely host, and allowing us to stay in your gorgeous annex.

This was our second stay at Springfield, and it was every bit as good as our first visit. Fiona is an excellent host - friendly, proactive, and very helpful. The information received about our stay was very comprehensive and really useful. The house was very comfortable, warm and spotless with every thing you need on hand - a real home from home. The beds in particular are so comfortable! Location is very peaceful and quiet. We were visiting family in the Uckfield and Brighton area so ideal for us. We hope to return again for another stay.

I stayed at Spring Farm's lodge for several weeks last winter and again for a week this December. The accommodation is pretty immaculate and fairly spacious too. Parking is right nearby. The alpacas do come up to the lodge's windows fairly frequently and are always a delight to see. The whole place is very peaceful with very little noise at any time. The wifi is very strong and fast. There was even a Xmas tree and several European travel adaptor plugs provided. Very much recommended.
