This is great little cottage in a great location. It was nice, warm, charming and had everything we needed. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Carole’s lodge. The views were gorgeous. We were welcomed by Carole’s sister who showed us the horses and introduced us to the famous ‘Fudge’ who is the sweetest dog and my daughter fell in love with her! We even saw some people doing horse riding lessons right from the view of our lodge! We didn’t spend a lot of time at the lodge as we were there to visit Grandparents and Southend beach so sadly didn’t get to go on the lovely walks we heard about. The lodge was perfect for a couple, couple with a child or single parent with a child as there is a small sofa bed in the living area which was perfect for us! Thank you also for the little touches like the milk, coffees, jams, teas and even the hair dryer and extension leads were so useful! We would definitely visit again.
